I have few of these. The Agricola and 5 tribes being my favourite, and frankly who doesn't love sticking and gluing 😂

Thanks for the video. I just ordered one for Concordia, since it will allow me to neatly store all the small bits in the base game box and use the Salsa box for all the maps I have.

2 of my fav things together. Gaming Rules and Folded Space inserts. Love these inserts - I’ve got a bunch from KS2 campaign ready to assemble over the Christmas holidays. Thanks for the video - I was using a damp cloth to remove the excess glue but definitely going to use a wet brush in future 😄

Yeah, brush worked really well, gets in the cracks.

Thanks for the video! It was very helpful to see how these are put together.

Your mind reading software is definitely working, Paul! I have a large stack of those from their last kickstarter, and was likely going to put the A Feast for Odin insert together myself tonight. They look so easy that I may end up doing more than just the one.

Cool. I've invested heavily in that mind-reading software!

Nice, tidy, and quick! Regarding the GWT insert, I've actually just assembled it yesterday and unfortunately there are no dedicated spaces for the auxiliary tile from the expansion. Due to that and the expansion board, the game lid does not fully close leaving it raised by 1 cm. I've emailed them and awaiting their reply. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with the GWT insert. Delivery time to Sweden was 3 working days for 12 inserts. I'm definitely backing them on KS. Update: I've received a reply from Folded Space acknowledging the issue and they are currently looking into it.

Interesting. I got told it would fit the expansion. A shame it doesn't, but I can't tell yet.

Thank you for this video. I like this new type, so if you have more inserts to film, please do. I like the idea of inserts, even though I see them as a luxury. Might be a little treat for me though - maybe even a Christmas present. Clans of Caledonia inserts would be interesting for example. :)

That game only just fits in the box as it is.

Yes, it's a bit of a squeeze, but I believe the next Kickstarter of Folded Space, which starts tomorrow I believe, includes a CoC insert, which looks rather nice. :)

These are very reasonably priced. I haven’t gotten them yet but have preordered some from their kickstarter.

Just curious did you feel the need to use the rubber band before the folded inserts? Or does the folded inserts cause the cover not to fit properly? (After posting thought)... or before, all the card board was in plastic bags so no real risk of losing pieces.
@GamingRulesVideos4 жыл бұрын
The cover fits fine. The problem being that if I transport the game and the box comes slightly open when carrying it sideways, everything falls out. The band prevents that happening.
@greginfla_14 жыл бұрын
Probably need the bands ... if you book shelf the games?
@Antelano4 жыл бұрын
Do these allow for vertical storage? The Feast for Odin one seemed to.
@GamingRulesVideos4 жыл бұрын
As long as the box is held together firmly with the bands, yes.

I was wondering about that elastic band thing. Do you know where to get something like that? I'm waiting for my scythe insert and would like to prepare by getting one of those. My scythe game gets a lot of travel as we usually play at different locations:D
@koomo8015 жыл бұрын
16:44 They're often called box bands, and you can find them in several places, such as Miniature Market here: www.miniaturemarket.com/searchresults?q=box+bands Even when not travelling with games they can be worth their weight in gold, especially for games like the Dice Masters Collector Boxes, or old, rickety beat-up classics like the original Civilization.
