Margaret, this time I listened/watched this video with a headset and your impressive presentation skills became even more obvious. You are articulate, have great vocal variety and combine that with a voice that is very soothing and personable with a little dash of humor here and there. Your content and delivery are top notch and very informative and entertaining. I'm looking forward to experiencing more videos.

Anyone else have a Simpsons flashback of Barney and Wade Boggs arguing over the greatest Prime Minister of England when she mentioned Pitt the Younger? All I had in my head was Barney shouting “LORD PALMERSTON!” Anyone unaware but interested, it’s the episode “Homer at the Bat” where that takes place.

@@nancyely6471 It seems to have been cut off in the editing, so all you can hear is "reportedly, she was slightly disappointed it hadn't been made out..." My guess is that it was a joke, and the remainder of the sentence would be "it hadn't been made out of iron", given Thatcher's nickname.

Heard here in the USA that Camille will be the Queen ! Does that mean the Queen and Charles are gone???
@margaretstockton-davies38282 жыл бұрын
Essentially, the Queen has said when she dies and Charles becomes King, she would like Camilla to take the title of Queen Consort. Usually, the Kings wife is referred to as Queen but Camilla was a divorced woman - and not very popular - when she married Charles so there was talk that she shouldn’t get the title. Her Majesty has said to us that it’s her wish for Camilla to be addressed as Queen, but she won’t have any power. It’ll just be her title as wife of the King. Hope that clears it up!
@Silvercloud-cg7gs2 жыл бұрын
@@margaretstockton-davies3828 Do you agree with Camilla being Queen? I thought William and Kate would take over as king and Queen but obviously the Royal Family want Charles and Camilla.
@margaretstockton-davies38282 жыл бұрын
@@Silvercloud-cg7gs Kate and William will be Queen and King - just after Charles. Charles was always going to be the king, it was just a question of how the public would refer to Camilla so nothing has changed all that much. Personally, it doesn't bother me for her to have the title but she is still unpopular so I know a lot of people don't like it!
