Beyond showing a great adventurer, great family man, singer, fisherman, cook, and general all-around role model, Jim knows how to make a video technically outstanding. I know that editing is not all that easy. I watch these videos on a big screen TV with a wonderful sound system so I can get that best reproduction of what Jim does. I love hearing the nature with the deep low notes reverberating on my system. He appreciates everything this world has to offer and it is not just the nature.

Just got caught up on the last 3 episodes. Hudson helping paddle and trolling is pretty darn cute, as well as his ohhhhhhh yeah and fist pump just like dad. Wesley sure is a happy traveler. The morning bickering is classic and part of any journey of any family showing you guys are the real deal.

The sound of the rain on the tarp just soothes the soul! Beyond the Height of Land And Spell of the Yukon were totally epic but something about this series and seeing Huddy and Wesley looking so joyful, as well as mom and dad just makes this series so special! I agree, Huddy also learned to walk better a lot faster as he had to navigate all the roots and stuff around our campsites….but just with everything we do he picks up on. He knows fire is not something g to be touched etc.
