It's amazing to me how the Lord can talk to us through his servants! I don't immediately see applications from every part of this talk in my life, but there are parts that are so specific to my life that I can't deny the Lord's hand. Kind of hard for me to explain, but the things I got most out of this talk were likely not understood in the same way for other people. When we open our hearts and listen to the words of the prophets, the Spirit can teach us! Thank you, Elder Soares! ❤

Fantsatic talk

The spirit of contention, is the spirit of foolishness, and destroys loving relationships. It is the exact opposite of the first and greatest commandment, and the second greatest commandment, that Jesus Christ taught us to obey. Instead of trying to fight against God and His commandments, we should choose to even love our enemies, which includes doing good to them, and praying for them. Of course I'm not suggesting that we put up with a victimizer, which should be dealt with in a legal manner that would keep them away from the victim. We should however strive for unity and understanding, instead of enmity and division. Being a peacemaker goes a long way in blessing mankind.
