DK and Lich are so iconic as a duo in the campaigns that I'm glad they're still exactly that in multiplayer. Dread/Pit/Crypt Lord first also going for their support after is quite fitting, too.

The bronze league players you beat with cursed builds must end up thinking it was an amazing strat and try it in their other games as well. It fuels this funny vicious cycle of crazy builds and I love it.

I beat many top tier players in my day with curse. Dispel scrolls were a pain, but would only slow it down. It really depends on things like timing and unit comp ofc.

Hey, Grubby! I recently heard you say that the meta in HU vs UD is fast expand vs fast expand but that it used to be HU fast expand vs aggressive UD, of which I had no idea (I usually play 1-base HU and always lose against UD). It made me think that it would be cool to hear a "Meta Snapshot" where you describe what is generally the best builds in certain matchups, maybe some unusual builds to counter the meta, etc... Not sure if this is something you're interested in doing, but I would love to see it.

What are the biggest mistakes amateurs do that make the most sense intuitively but pro's would never do because of deeper understanding? I'll start: chasing down a scout worker with your hero for too long at the beginning of the game

Hey Grubby! Unholy frenzy is such a big dps increase, what do you think about using necros in standard play with a Zeppelin to save and transport them like a Shuttle would ? Is it worth the investment ?

Grubs, what do you think about the idea to nerf Unholy frenzy substantially (less %, duration, more mana cost and back to 4 hp/s loss) but make it undispellable, like poison, disease or doom? I have a feeling it could finally make necros and temple viable.

I think it would still be kind of a niche thing, since Necromancers' main use is to Raise Dead while Meat Wagons carry corpses for them to raise skeletons out of. I think if we're hugely buffing Necros, I would give them the Skeletal Mastery upgrade by default. That or buffing the Skeleton Warriors or Skeleton Mages. The latter is a little risky since it also buffs the Rod of Necromancy, unless you only buff the Skeleton Mage. If we're buffing him in small ways, your idea works, or I think a buff to his durability is needed. Or initial mana. He's unarmored and has less health than Ghouls, Necros get nuked really hard.

An even bigger change that is possible is to swap Cripple and Unholy Frenzy, so Cripple comes with the Adept Training upgrade. It may be really powerful, but it also costs a lot of mana.

@@SyRose901 I like your answers, but I don't think you get my point on where the problem with temple units/upgrades truly is in game's current state. And it lies in the fact that any amount of resources and time invested in temple units and upgrades becomes your immediate and unrecoverable loss condition the very moment your opponent gets a few units with dispel/steal/devour. No amount of simple spell stats rebalancing or shuffling can fix that issue. UD casters NEED a useful Novice or Adept (not Master!) spell that someehat works despite dispel/steal/devour. Like how shaman can purge, priest can heal and dispel, or how druids and dryads can still simply fight.

@@SyRose901 I've never seen anyone take Necros for their intended skeleton raising. Seems kinda bad when a hero like DR or CL can use corpses to spawn stuff anyway, or you can just buy another Rod. Pretty much the only use is to do some unholy frenzy shenanigans, which is mostly just a meme too. Would be nice to have a dispell or heal in UD that doesn't come from statues/destro.

Hey grubby I have started watching your content the last few weeks I used to play warcraft 3 before World of Warcraft was released and have been trying to get back into it I use orc race just trying to pick a race and stick with it I play the campaign or I play custom games right now just to get back into the flow I am just struggling with attacking I can creep and everything just when it comes to the attacking the other players base I struggle what's a good orc Amy to use

Grubby 55 mmr for a loss is nothing compared to what I experience on bnet east lol. I lose 100+ most losses and gain anywhere from no mmr to 50 for wins lol not even exaggerating
