Would it be safe to save incremental files? Like once comfortable with a character in a t pose, save that, then pose the character as desired and save that as a new pose and then build off the original t pose for different poses? Or does t pose master save the original t pose of the character within the file if that makes sense?

When you have gizmo and multiple subtools operator selected, you can use ctrl shift click on subtools to select multiple subtools and move only them 😉
