If they really want money, they could re-release the backwards compatible PS3 without defective chips this time and larger internal storage. I and many others would easily buy it, most definitely would be more profitable than the PS5 Pro. We could then have all of Playstation with just 2 boxes.

It's such a joke. Decided maybe i'd actually pick up a controller only, they run out immediately and scalpers have them again. Gamestop and some other outlets say they've gotten a hold of some of them in limited quantities... except you need subscription at any of these stores making a controller that was pretty much 80 bucks over 110 not even including tax. Ridiculous. Stuff like this and the censorship is why i switched to pc. I'll just stick to my 8bitdo controllers.

A lot of useless features added that drive up the price. Since the ps2 they add something new to the controller that makes it cost more. Ps3 gyro. Ps4 touchpad. Ps5 adaptive triggers. I would love to have a basic controller stripped of all those useless features!!

I want the controller, don't don't really want the controller though, I'll maybe get the ps5 pro down the line but I don't see a very compelling reason to and I mostly only use console and Switch for JRPG's other than that everything else is on PC so i dont have a real need for the pro.

I have no desire to get ps5 pro. I built a PC last year and my regular ps5 has been collecting dust. The only game I played this year on console was rebirth and that game was tiring.

Hasn't changed my position at all - still not getting it. I'm not really wanting to support any of the major consoles for various reasons (Sony = censorship, Microsoft = spying, Nintendo = anti-consumer copyright abuse). So I'll remain a Linux PC gamer until any of those majorly change. Besides, I still have an original PSX any time I feel nostalgic for the old look :D
