Thank you 😊. Here you go! Water 1/2 cup (pour in heat resistant container) Gelatin 1 and half Tablespoon (Sprinkle the gelatin into d water) Allow to sit for 5 minutes. While it is proofing for the 5 minutes do the following: Measure out and sieve 1kg + 500grams (1.500g ) icing sugar Add in 1 teaspoon of CMC (level it oh) Mix into the icing sugar and keep aside.(You can remove 200g.of the icing sugar and use for dusting your surface while kneading) Put on your fire, add water into a pot that will conveniently hold the container of your gelatin without it entering into the gelatin. When d water boils gentle put the container of your gelatin on the water and continue to stir until d thick gelatin melts... While at it, add in half cup of glucose into the almost melted gelatin and keep on mixing until all melt and mix together. Bring out of the steam and allow to rest a little while still warm (not hot oh) Make a hole in the icing sugar and pour the warm gelatin/glucose mixture into it, Use your clean hand to start mixing, when they have come together, transfer to a clean surface and continue kneading until well combined, smooth and stretchy. Rub crisco or Vegetable oil on it, wrap in a cling film or clean nylon, tie very well keep it to rest for at least 4 hours or for best result leave for 24 hours before using. Cheers to your fondant making.

Nice and neat work. Can I get an oil based chocolate cake recipe? Most of the recipes I use comes out too soft that stacking it becomes difficult. Most have this 1 cup hot water in recipe which to me is the root cause. 🙏🙏

Thanks a lot! Yes you can! Oh! Well, mine uses warm water: half cup of hot and half cup of room temperature. I hope it gives you what you want. Thanks so much for watching and engaging.

Ma please I want to know what you use to clean the fondant after baking
@JoyousCakesandMore6 ай бұрын
I think I used vegetable shortening here we also call it crisco here in Naija. You can also use edible spirit, or you use your steamer. Thanks for watching Sis.💐💐💐
