Excellent work John. Good call on the use of the matte base; the makes the metallic texture look that much more convincing. Also, layering and the panel tonality are the way to go. I gotta print one myself. Thanks for the video.

Thanks very much for sharing John, amazing work! I wish you could do a longer video (I guess too late now?) showing the final weathering with extra grime and dust and washes and burn marks. I know you are using the same techniques as in your previous models, but it would have been nice to watch you work on this one too. One question - what color/colors did you use for the sprayed grime pass, after the second masking fluid application? Looks like a dark grey, but could you give us more details? Many thanks again!

John, I feel like I use the word "Amazing" on all your videos...in the spirit of keeping things fresh: You need to improve your technique, sir. My 5 year old makes better images with wet crayons! Jk, this is amazing!! Thanks for sharing this technique!
