Loved your video, it has given me a sense of what to expect, terrain-wise. But I have one question though, would you sleep in those shelters? We are planning a 3 or 4 day hike? I am from NZ and not sure what to expect?

Yes, absolutely. However, be sure to visit the Great Smoky Mountain National Park website because you have to get a permit to camp in them.

Do you recall how long it took you to do this run in total? With breaks, and water refits?

We were moving at a relaxed pace and it took just over 11 hours.

I had one Enduro battery in the GoPro, and one spare normal battery. I didn’t even need the spare!
