As a drummer myself, this was so impressive, to use a completely unfamiliar kit, and be able to stay in time with the cues and dynamics shows how talented of a musician this guy is, props to him, anyone who criticizes this is just jealous cause I doubt anyone in that situation woulda done better. Also Taylor’s kit sounds amazing

@@jayson198494 That posture will result in back problems (he does NOT need to bend his head forward as much as he did ... unless there was something blinding him) ... and without having the usual earpiece to synch with the rest of the music AND having to react to Dave pausing the song or switching to "sing along with the crowd" took some concentration. Haha, I don't think you would put yourself forward for that embarrassment if you couldn't play. I think you'd only come forward for doing it if you knew you could nail it

Justin Gonzalez Right! I’ve always wondered how that happens! Every single vid I’ve seen they get someone up and they’re always shit hot!! Even the little kid once, on the guitar!!

Here I am again, watching one of the best Foo audience moments and still love the genuine admiration that Dave Grohl has for this guy. What a moment 👏

This is absolutely fantastic. To play in front of that many people and kill it like that. Awesome!

Let me tell you, I was called up by godsmack at earth day birthday last year and when you get up to play you see the band, the crowd, the lights all the cameras and everything starts to just go numb and you just get this rush. It’s amazing, the feeling is incredible. Good job

Two of the best drummers of rock music were on this stage. And to be called a "good f--king drummer" repeatedly by one of them would be an incredible honor.

I'm so jealous. I was at their concert in Pula one day prior and held up a sign saying if I may play Everlong with them. Sadly I wasn't brought up on stage. But man I tried and he even looked at me thinking if he should bring me up, everybody was cheering for me. I'm so happy for this guy. Still, it was the best concert I've been to. 3 hours of pure enjoyment.

One thing is musicians doing a "fan service" inviting them up to play... lots of bands do it.. But then there is Dave... He absolutely enjoys hearing the fans play! thats awesome to see
