Another professional musician here. Couldn't agree more. She killed it. Hard to process. 11 years old and not only does she understand the phrasing and dynamics but she understands her role in the band. She knows she is the center of all energy as the drummer and is able to drive the band. The band plugged right into her energy. Very out of the ordinary considering they've never played together before. Immediate chemistry. An incredibly impressive performance by Nandi.

@@curtkohen6263 I had the same thought when i saw the crowd, most of them without masks. And a sign at the front of the stage that masks have to be worn. I am German and i don´t know about the current rules in American States, i personally wouldn´t feel safe to go to such an event, i wouldn´t do it, although i am fully vaccinated. I see Videos of people walking into big stores or malls in the USA, unmasked. But the staff and cashiers all wearing masks ... Here in Germany it is mandatory that you *have to* wear a mask in ALL stores, supermarkets, that kind of environments. Otherwise you wouldn´t be allowed to enter. And i fully support that.

So my take on this event stems from my time as a drummer. We all know that Dave is a multi-millionaire, and that his musical career has put him on stage with some of the greatest musicians of all time, but my respect for Dave comes when he allows the up and coming musicians and fans to jump on stage and share a moment that they will never forget. This little girl along with many others have had the chance to rock with the Foo Fighters, and it has likely resulted with their desire to rock on throughout their lives and share the joy of music with others. Dave has shown that he can be humble and kind with people and help boost their careers, while at the same time laughing at himself because he knows that he has nothing to prove too anyone at this stage in his life. Rock on Dave but especially Rock On Nandi!!!!!!!!👍🌹

I remember seeing something on TV about him years ago. At the time he was living in a normal middle class neighborhood. The kind of place where houses are single story and 50 feet apart. His neighbors on one side where an older couple who knew he was a musician and knew his name was Dave but had no idea he was world famous and worth 300 million dollars. They thought he was the typical struggling musician. They were bringing him cookies and inviting him to dinner. He played right along and treated them like they were his grandparents or something. Dave is definitely different and definitely special.

This girl is simply wonderful! The way she attacks the drums, smiling while she destroys the instrument, is absolutely awesome! It's very incredible for me, an old rocker from a f***ing country like Brazil, to see that girl making all rock fans like me dizzy with her sympathy, energy and strength to rock and roll! I sincerely hope she never loses this love and devotion to rock. That she never surrenders to easy money and easy world of ephemeral fame!

With the world being as crappy as it is these days, this is a breathe of fresh air. I’ve followed Dave since his Nirvana days and Nandi rive followed since her first video went viral. This video made me cry and so proud as if Nandi was my kiddo. She’s so gifted and such an inspiration to so many young kids world wide. Thank you Dave for sharing your time and obvious love for music and Nandi.

Honestly one of the coolest things the Foo Fighters have ever done... Most of us remember that first "musical moment" when the level of inspiration soared and we could imagine doing nothing else. I have to think, this will be that moment for this young and talented musician. First class guys, first class...

What I find so great about this gig of bringing fans up to the stage, is how the FFs get to share and multiply joy. Sure they play great, and the music is great, but the feeling of enjoying the concert multiplies somehow when you see another person on the stage, enjoying her/himself, full of amazement and awe. You can see it on their faces, they feel connected to the moment, and that is what they transmit. Dave sure has an intuition for the sociology of music. What an amazing band!

For starters it’s one of the greatest songs of all time anyway, but then you throw in the Charisma of Dave and the pure joy and energy that is Nandi and I immediately begin to smile again and all of a sudden the world is that much brighter!! Love this kid, love this song, love this band!! Thank you Fooeys, thank you Nandi! 🤘🏼LONG LIVE ROCK N ROLL!! 🤘🏼

And yet one more very powerful example that our world is changing ... female energy is RISING and we need is soooo very, very much before male testosterone destroys us in fighting, wars and eco-destruction. Than you Nandi for following your call, and thank you Dave for having her perform with you.

Holy crap! I'm not a musician but if my eyes were closed I would have never been able to tell it wasn't the regular drummer. Nandi is amazingly talented! I'm 29 and only really listened to the Foo Fighters/Nirvana on the radio as a kid, but I caught Dave and Nandi's drum off on reddit during covid and I am so happy to see this follow up. It's so clear now why Dave Grohl is so well-liked and respected, and I hope to see The Foo Fighters in concert sometime soon!

Isn't life full of surprise? God have mysterious ways to put two people together! Maybe Nandi will help Dave to heal his pain, and change him in a much bigger way than we think. Maybe next time instead of making an horror movie, with all sorts of evil spirits, he will make a fairy tail movie, with all sorts of angels! 😁 I'm kidding! I think Dave acted as a teenager most of his life, it would be time now to grow up, and be more responsible in what he says and do in front of so many influenceable young people, who sees him as a role model. Will see anyway, but I hope so!
