Hi Misty, I thoroughly enjoyed this vid. We get to learn the things you like and dislike and what the future holds in your adventures. I’m like you with planning a holiday ! We plan way in advance and then research what to do, it’s the best way of leaving no stone unturned ! I’ve been following you since early 2022 when we decided to holiday in Hawaii the following year 2023. Your vids helped us prep 🤙 We are coming back this year in Oct for 14 days to take it easy this time and soak up what we rushed through. If possible, could I join you in one of your YT Vids and maybe get some of that Lau Lau ? Your answers to starting a YT Channel is gold , I’m like sitting on the fence watching but I have a lot of ideas to get started and then to find a rhythm/format to get serious about and the time. It's funny you'll have a direction in your mind but attract a different crowd still doing your niche. For example when I started I envisioned to help tourists get out of Waikiki. But attracted a crowd of Hawaii residents that moved away and miss home.

Late to watching this for the 10k...but wow as of today your subscribers are over 18k, congrats 🤩! I watched this during peak hours at Makai Food Court 😬, but put my headphones on and the stroll in the woods with the birds chirping and your commentary was interesting and relaxing amidst the lunchtime chaos. I love camping vids, from glamping to bushcraft (the cooking parts are some of my fav tho 😉). I think you'd put out great camping content if you decide to one day. You cover so much more than just the food, you cover the culture/people that surround it with humor, broad perspective, and honesty. (I think offal is "awful" too but i do like vienna sausage...which is pretty much just offal pate 😅.) Mahalo Misty for all your hard work as a creator 🤙🫶!!

Mahalo Ripley! Camping and bushcraft is my thing. But it's hard to do here. I know a place in the mountains by my house to do it but it's hard to do alone. Hi sista. Da bus Used to be $1.00; unlimited. Love opihi is awesome Used to like the Opihi pickers music. Saw them many times on Kauai. Coconut market place. I don't carry cash. I pay by debit card. I can keep track of my finances easier. Keep up the good vibes.

Debit is good. But just be careful if someone charges fraudulent charges it's harder to get your money back vs a credit card.

I used to drink Death Wish. It is ok. I liked their blueberry one once in a while too. Wow Graham Kerr was another old school one. The Two Fat Ladies I liked but didn't see them until Food Network came along.

Thanks so much! Not sure about reasonable tour guides but if you rent a car you could totally do it yourself for free. I did a video on it a while ago. Check it out. Most tours you're packed on a bus with other tourists.

Hi Misty!! I love these Q & A's and the setting in the mountains is forgeous. The trees are interesting. Pretty good you and Aiden can trade off for likes and dislikes. You guys in Aiea and Pearl City have so many ono old Mom n Pop homey foods. Yay, Kalihi girl, you my homey, too. you like opihi...I like the muscle part of the opihi-the crunchy part- but I don't like the part that looks like an eyeball. Yeah, The Bus was the way my friend and I rode from Waianae to Ala Moana where we attended Sears Charm School. Interesting about Vietnam--no coins.
