Brilliant overture, i love the way its kind of scary, and dark - like the dark side of victorian times, like work houses! and its great how it goes into the song

My school is doing this play, and when we were singing along with the actual singing from the movie.... I noticed we sounded waaaayy too happy to be orphans who are fed gruel everyday. =.='

@sophiels2 There is a huge wobbly pudding being carried across the stage and the lady trips with some of the audience gasping, it's part of the script

I agree with you JH, at least this is the complete version compared to the official cast recording, you get the drum here as the kids march out, not just the piano. Also in the OCR they have edited out the brilliant instrumental in 'Who Will Buy' Such a shame......

The original orphans in 'Annie' all sound waaaaaay to good to be just orphans, but hey, they pulled it off! (Just think of a food you really hate, and pretend you get fed nothing but that.)
