I would say for natural sugary foods like apples or bananas are good but something with things like chocolate no since it has caffeine in it.

Hey alen :)) thank you for the good information. Also i have three baby birds, they're more than 1 month old, so i still keep the basket where the adult budgies layed eggs on, so basically, they grew up on the basket and im wondering if i should take the basket out of the cage because what if they suddenly lay eggs? And the baby budgies still sleep in that basket lol. Its not like an egg box or anything else, its just a small basket

Try to sprinkle a little Millet seeds on top of your birds vegetables and fruits. That worked for me. They can´t avoid to eat some of it, and over time they get used to it, and will eat them with delight

My budgie is also scared of carrots. I found eating a piece in front of her reassures her that it's something safe to eat. Also offering a seed-sized piece seems to come across as less intimidating.
