Paksu means Young Uncle where Pak=Father (short for bapak) or Uncle or Sir depending on usage. Su=is short for bongsu which means the youngest in the family. So paksu means the youngest uncle. Whereas maksu means youngest auntie of that family. Its is an endearing term for our elders depending on where in the family rank they are. So you would have paklong...pakngah....paksu. meaning eldest uncle.....middle uncle and youngest uncle. So it is also for maklong...makngah and maksu.

Kula Cake's mango cheesecake originate from their restaurant Lila Wadi. It's a place famous for it's tom yam steamboat and mango cheesecake. Back then when Kula haven't started, the cheesecake actually tasted richer. Now it's mass produced to meet the demand and I am quite sure they had changed the type/brand of cheese they used. It just taste different. Still good but not the same. As usual, when things were commercialized... it changed. I didn't go there for years after I realized it tasted different, it's still popular though.
