I totally agree with you about the movie chef. Not only a great film producer but a great actor. However, the most interesting part is the interaction and bond between John and his son. John is much more talented that people five him credit for in the industry.

The thing I love about Chef and Burnt is that it gives the (aware)audience member a better understanding of what it's like to cook for people, not for profit or making mega bucks but to fulfill that basic desire for hunger all while trying to infuse flavors that people would usually find in upper echelon restaurants but for a reasonable price and at the same eye level of the street you're walking down or up. They also make a person realize that they are artists in their own field. Agreed, Chef is a great movie and all it does is it makes me want to eat something they made...also helped me realize I need to tidy up my kitchen almost always. Have a like chef, @John Quilter!

Here in Denver Colorado we pay almost 9 US dollars. I now make my own cuban bread and pork like you, so I save some money but as you see very time consuming. Perfect to make if you have a big family to feed and worth it! And it's the best sandwich in the world!

I remember going to a market in South London who did a Cubana. They shredded the pork and didn’t have the same bread. As a fan of the Favreau, Choi and the film. It wasn’t what I expecting. They charged the same price as you are. Which I’m more than happy to pay due to the effort and love you put into making the sandwich.
