Easy hack for the potatoes? Microwave them to 1/3-1/2 done, let them rest, then slice. Need some hash browns or carrots (like carrot-raisin salad, coleslaw) by the bucket? SaladShooter Pro. Best $$ I've ever spent for a kitchen hand tool. Comes with a grater, 2 thicknesses of slices (straight cuts), and 1 corrugated slicing cones (wavy carrots/potatoes for some great oven-baked potatoes/chips?). Dishwasher safe, zip, zip, zip... done in one. Never looked back. Quick and easy clean-up. Great for large families or prepping med-large batches. Still a few weeks away, but Mother's Day, then Father's Day are both coming down the cooking pike calendar, right? Know anyone who doesn't want to stand at the hand/box shredder for the next 20 years? Also works for apples, pears, zucchini, bell peppers, COLD onions where geometric shapes are not mandated, toms, and other hard and semi-hard fruit and veg. Celery? Just be sure to prep them by peeling the ribs/strings first. Scallions, and bananas? Not so much, lol... unless you want to mush the bananas for several loaves of banana bread, zuccini bread or make an incredible onion soup (large) batch. Also a great gift for an older person, an aspiring young chef, a newlywed, bridal shower, a new college student, etc. Momma always said... STOP PLAYING WITH YOUR FOOD, right? Dear chef U are so right about Breakfast cooks, I'm greek and with my husband we had 2 breakfast restaurants and lunch type like new York dinners Did very good but Another of prep,and lots of running around in the restaurant. As u know ones is cooked u got to take it out to the tables and even so it still kinda cold lolol So I know all about Moving,running 🏃‍♂️ Good to meet u
