Hopefully they caught the birds afterwards to take the strings off so they don't die from accidentally entangling in it. And also that they didn't poop on anyone there flying around, lol.

Usually they fly home (same risk as racing pigeons in this case sadly), but I know a guy which has a safer option by having a van literally around the corner from a venue. People rent his birds, he outputs a sound on a speaker most humans can't hear and the birds return to him within minutes of release. He trains them to react to the noise before renting them out, it's not just a sound any and all pigeons or doves flock to 😅

3:34 doves are actually white pigeons, so the pigeons would be the closest substitute 😂

@JavinMo-r4s To be fair with some people renting these birds out once released they make the trek home which has the same risks of racing pigeons ie getting lost, getting injured and many potentially dying. People can buy these birds for around £5 and breed them in abundance, the odd one not making it back doesn't put a damper on selfish people. So, ye poor birds and ye it is quite traumatising for the ones forced to fly home or die trying. The lucky ones who have to fly home instead get lost and join a feral flock.

He kinda pushed his idea on them. Could you see the ladys expression when he said birds in the cake.. she had that shocked questioning smile that says "What? Did I hear you right?, please continue but so far ehhh... no thanks." But seems kinda flexible at the same time so shes probably thinking "as long as my concerns are taken care of then I guess." No pooping on the cake, no germs, very unusal. She was definitely concerned and uncomfortable with that idea.

You have no guarantee they won't be harmed unfortunately as the common practice has them flying home themselves which can does lead to deaths and the lucky ones getting lost and joining feral flocks.

The cake looks pretty the dove idea was cute although gotta say it wasnt sanitary and also they might poop all over the place as they flew all the way to the top of the building and might even fly down towards the cake. Also, gotta say quite old to get married I hope it aint their first time getting married cause if it is they are too old.
