I freeze eggs. Scramble with a little salt or sugar (depending on recipe) pour them into a freezer bag & label. I pour them thru a fine colander after thawing because there’s usually a few little chunks.

You can absolutely freeze milk, yogurt and defrosted meat. The meat will have a weird texture and you'll have to shake milk after thawing but that's it. It's not like it becomes inedible.

Ive always froze my milk and like frozen yogurt. Growing up with 4 other siblings my mom always had to buy a lot of milk and freeze whatever jug we didn’t use. All you have to do is shake the milk up once its fully thawed and boom. Good milk lol. It’s just as good. Especially in these times who really going to the grocery store once a week.. just buy the that extra jug of milk and freeze it. Save yourself an extra trip to the store lol

I live in a small town two hours from the big box stores where milk is cheaper by $3,12 per gallon so we stock up during our monthly shopping trips. The trick to using frozen milk is to let it thaw completely and shake before using, and try different brands as some thaw better than others. We also learned that 3.25% milk lasts in the fridge longer than 2%. While 2% milk will turn bad near it's expiration date, homogenized milk will still be usable up to 10 days later.

Milkshakes. Make cold-brewed coffee, freeze in ice cube trays, toss in blender with milk and flavoring of choice, blend until smooth. A dash of irish cream or khalua is good as well.

Much of texture depends on how you thaw it . same with dairy products. Fried food freezes fine if you know what your doing...(as you obviously don't seem to.)...We freeze Kentucky fried chicken in individual bags and microwave it.

Seems to be maybe a generalising sweep of information here. This is what I’ve experienced from freezing certain foods first hand... *Im not sure about full fat, but semi skimmed milk is fine to use after freezing. My mom did it all through my childhood. Maybe it’s a little more watery, but it’s not so bad that freezing shouldn’t be an option. *Mashed potato can be frozen. I wasn’t so sure, but tried freezing left overs after reading that it could be done. I used the frozen mash for a shepherds pie and the mash tasted great. There was no stale flavour that mash left in the fridge gets, the texture was ultra smooth. *I’ve not frozen chicken eggs, but have been doing a lot of research....because of the global situation and trying to minimise shopping trips.....apparently eggs frozen (without their shells because of expansion) are fine.

I just froze 40 pounds of potatoes. some I sliced up and fried with seasonings on the griddle to 90% done roughly then stopped. VAC packed and frozen. for mashed potatoes I diced them and boiled them again till almost done. then cold water bath to stop the cooking process. pat dry vac bag and freeze. its not 100% the same when you thaw finish cooking and beat into mashed potatoes but its very hard to tell the difference unless your paying attention. basically you need a wee bit more butter and milk when you mash them.

I’ve put milk in the freezer before and as long as you let it thaw completely it tastes the same afterwards. Although I would only recommend freezing whole milk because it has a higher fat content so it does better.

Meat freezes fine. I can only buy defrosted meat on the market, and freeze it for later. Milk freezes good too if you allow room in the jar for expansion. What you really shouldn't freeze is plant matter. Raw vegetables or cooked but still firm chunks. They turn into a soft mush. It is possible to accidentally freeze vegetables if they were pressed against the heatpipes in the refrigerator.

defrosted meat can be freezed again AFTER it's been cooked/grilled ect. because that kills said bacteria. BUT, and this is a big but, cook it and freeze it again the same day (defrost it during the day, cook it in evening, freeze again it the same evening) otherwise you may be putting the meat at an even higher risk. however just plain ol meat will lose its flavors. so any grinded meat is perfect for this.

I think you are oh so wrong about not freezing milk. I’ve grew up in a big family and my mother bought 25 half gallons of milk every two weeks. She froze most of it and to be honest when she thawed it and it still had some of those ice particles in it, it was fantastic. Have you tried it?
