Lovely colours, looks stunning, but what I love the most is that pan you prepared it in. What brand is it? I assume it's from India, because I saw a kadhai looking exactly the same inside on one Indian channel, but I'd like to get one, in case I can get it elsewhere. Thanks.

I made this lovely meal for my family tonight, and they loved it! I did add a little mustard oil to the marinade, and some chopped spinach during the last five minutes of cooking. Thank you for brilliantly simplifying biryani.

Can you use chicken breast?
@maggietaylor9475Ай бұрын
I hope you don’t mind me asking, but why do you use wooden chopping boards especially when cutting chicken? I appreciate it is for the family, but wooden boards are not easy to get clean.
@karlfernandes1367Ай бұрын
Which would you use?
@maggietaylor9475Ай бұрын
@@karlfernandes1367 I use coloured hard plastic boards that are cannot allow raw meat juices to soak into them as they are not porous. In common with many kitchens, both professional and domestic, I use red for raw meat, white for cooked, green for vegetables and blue for fish. This prevents any cross contamination and the risk of food poisoning from raw meat juices (especially poultry). Hope that helps.
@karlfernandes1367Ай бұрын
@@maggietaylor9475 plastic boards are much worse imo because of microplastics. You can always clean wooden boards and i've never had a problem with meat when using a wooden board for chopping.
