Ha! I was just like you: “ I know where this is going. Huh… Elmsley, Ascanio…nice! Whoa! WTF??!? Deck switch?!!?” And you had me! Great effect! definitely adding this one to my repertoire!

Likewise! I figured that transferring the 4 cards at the beginning back onto the deck was to pick up an extra card and caught the Elmsley counts but the color change was very unexpected. That one took me completely by surprise. I didn't even have an inkling that was coming.

It’s definitely the most fooling part of the trick!

Great performance and tutorial as always CM! I only saw this trick once, and that was from Mismag822 - The Card Trick Teacher. I wasn't into color change tricks then, so I never bothered learning it, but now I am highly considering learning this. #Roadto20K!

Yeaaah that's a great trick ! So baffling ! I usually do it a bit different as i like to use a red tuck to justify the 4 cards color change and I use Tool for the deck color change which allows me to leave the deck face down and still have an extra blue back card on top until the very last moment. Thanks for showing this ! Any idea of who created it btw ? Keep it up man, I love your channel

I like that idea! I wish I knew who the creator was

Nice effect! One recommendation: After removing the four cards, DON'T set the deck down. Get your pinky break before picking up the cards and putting them in order on top of the deck. Only then set the deck aside. There's no reason to put the deck down and pick it back up only to put it back down again. It's very suspicious. It's more natural to organize the cards in your hands and then casually set the deck aside, since you only need the "four" cards.
