I feel very fortunate to have landed former Liverpool, Brighton & Southampton Legend, Jimmy Case as my very first guest...We talk about his arrival at Anfield,and the 1976 U.E.F.A Cup Final where Liverpool came from behind to beat Club Brugge 3-2 in a stunning match at Anfield... Interview took place at Liverpool football club on Saturday the 8th of September 2012.

How on earth did he not play for England? Loved him. In my opinion, a better player than Sammy Lee who replaced him and was still pretty good. They talk about wingbacks nowadays, but I thought Phil Neal was the first ever wingback and Jimmy Case enabled him to do that by looking after opposing wingers like Gordon Hill, who never did anything against Liverpool even though they fluked that Cup final.

I remember the goal against Grimsby, I was in the kop, was a peach 5 minutes before the end...but remember the game more for the hilarious 'Fishy' chants....Phil Eel....Jimmy Plaice...Kenny Dogfish.. etc...happy times! YNWA
