It’s insane how well the Chiefs have drafted during the Andy Reid era. When you draft guys like Tyreek, Chris Jones, Bolton, Sneed, Creed, Pacheco, and Rashee Rice outside the first round, your scouting department is earning their check.

Bills fan, good call on Shakir. He came on very strong late in the season as Diggs' production dwindled. He proved that he has Josh Allen's trust, and that's important. Also, by all accounts, he's been working his butt off this off season.

Giants fan here. I think the main reason they got Burns and gave him that massive contract was to send a message to KT. He’s in year 3 and he is eligible for a contract extension after this year. I find it hard to believe that the Giants will pay 30 million plus per year to two edge rushers if KT has the breakout we think he can have. So most likely the Giants will either 1. Offer him an Alex Highsmith type of deal after the year provided he breaks out or 2. Make him play out his rookie contract and 5th year option where by then Burns will be nearing the end of his deal and as such KT can get big money.

On KT... While I do think he needs to develop some better pass rush moves and probably put on about 10-15 lbs if he's around 240, we also have to remember that Wink's defenses aren't designed for the Edge rushers to put up big sack numbers and never had a 10+ sack guy until KT put up his number this year. Also, the OLB coach that reportedly was working to undermine Daboll with Wink was the guy handling the Edge Rushers. He's gone now, and they're now under the DL coach. Hopefully, that helps them all improve.

I think Boye Mafe on the Seahawks could break out this year. He had 9 sacks last year which is good but NOBODY even whispered about it. I think with a new coach he can have more sacks and some recognition. I was thinking of also saying Tyrel Dodson, who is a new linebacker for the team as well, but he actually was really good last year on a more high profile team but I think I can mention him because he didn't get any or little recognition like Mafe. Better watch out for both of them.

Kayvon with 11.5 sacks and 43 pressures vs Hutchinson with 11.5 sacks and 100+ pressures.. would be a big consideration if you are not considering the factor of how much of those snaps were passing snaps and the Edge guys were acutally pass rushing. That's why I know you aren't a great analyst and only considering the National Media narrative. KT's usage is a critical determining factor in what results as his stats. Wink Martindale had KT's cover snaps at a high amount versus Hutchinson and was almost at 50% of the time for KT. So if you take the 43 pressures and lesser amount of pass rushing snaps.. then that would be a much better stat vs Hutchinson's.

I think people are really sleeping on Will Levis as well with the Titans. I don't think they will be a good team in a first year under a new head coach and I think realistically Levis is going to need another year and have a Josh Allen kind of learning curve but Josh never had this kind of good (albeit aging) receiving targets that early in his career so I honestly think Levis COULD absolutely overshadow all of this year's rookies for breakout QB alongside his buddy Anthony Richardson who is bound to shock people.
I think ravens Trenton Simpson will breakout. He barely got playing time as a rookie but when he did in the final game vs Steelers, he played really well. Now with Queen gone, Simpson is expected to start next to Roquan smith. With that, Simpson may become the ravens next superstar defensive player.
