you could definetely size up & throw some newer drop in insoles into the 11s. Might not even need to size up depending on the shoe, if you dont mind a snug fit

These are some of the comfiest, supportive, most well-rounded retro there is. Durability on and off court is AMAZING. I've had the the J12 playoff 2022's and I've balled in them and worn them casually ever since and they are still alive and kicking! Only heeldrag as battle scars but these are still some of the best performing pairs out there.

Amazing review and amazing video! My holly trinity of Air Jordans are 11, 12 and 13. Elevens are nice to play in them a little bit narrow in the front. Twelves are little bit too low to the ground to me and kind of unstable in transition front to back. Thirteens are the best of the bunch - very stable, prorective and with good grip. That's of course regarding my body type - a heavy guard lol. But the fact that you mentioned that higher psi's might get me to buy a pair to see if there's actually improvement in the performance. And I'll paint the red side plastic with a copic marker lol! Thanks for the review once again!

I have the Jordan 12 neophren 2016, the playoffs 2022 and the cherry 2023, and I have the feeling the 2016 have a better zoom unit. I diminished the thickness of the outsole with a wood files and rasps and the shoe became lighter and more flexible (450 gr before 432 gr after). But yeh, each time I’m walking into these, they feel like an OG cushioning. For the playoffs and the cherry’s it is not the same story, the cushion is harder. I had the containment is better on the playoffs than on the cherry, and I have the pinkie toe issue in the cherry. Last thing the cherry have a more flexible outsole than the playoffs.

I think I should get them. I have a really heavy lower body and used to play a lot despite not being built for basketball at all. I am 5’7” and now weigh 193 with most of that weight being in my lower half. I used to tear through the grip on some shoes in high school because every move I made put too much weight and torque on the outsole and could destroy shoes with bad grip within 30 minutes of indoor play. I also have 2e feet and can’t often wear my actual length size unless I get wide or 2e shoes and find some models in 1 full size up to still be too thin

I was wondering if we could get a proper review of the Foamposite shoes. So far, we've only seen a review discussing why they might be a good choice for LeBron. With several new colorways being released and the buzz around them making a bit of a comeback, I don't think it would be too much to ask for a detailed review. It would still give you relevant content! 😅 I'm such a nerd that I buy a basketball, play in them, and watch several videos about them. I keep coming back to these shoes videos time and time again after playing in them! 😂

I bought a pair of these shoes online last night. I usually wear a size 12 in most of my shoes, but this time I bought them half a size down. I plan to use them for playing indoor ball. You mentioned that they run long, so I'm worried that the half size down might be too small. I never thought that I had long toes, but maybe I do. Do you think the sizing will be a problem? I'll return them if it is. I just wanted to get your opinion.

I've worn 12s since the Ogs. It's always been the most plush and springy model of the shoes Mike wore. They are already pretty heavy and then they retain moisture which only makes them worse. Lateral containment isn't the best and gets worse with time. Much like the Huarache 2k4 it is the upper that fails the 12.
@joshuabritto10367 ай бұрын
I thought it was just me with the lateral containment. The lack of it makes it unplayable for me.

@michaelromandel90226 ай бұрын
I hear a lot of people tell me they need quick light shoes to be fast on the court but I need grip and rubber durability. I think I understand now finally, it is because they have less leg mass vs their total body weight and height. I only really feel the weight of safety toe construction boots that I wear at work and even pretty much all hiking boots and shoes feel really light to me.
