@TheMrSandMan114 жыл бұрын
@@EclipseLleuad you misunderstand him, he was referring to the fight or flight response that all animals have (including and most notably humans). It's a stress response to a stressful situation and the fish has likely had little to stress about but the giant finger monster..
@EclipseLleuad4 жыл бұрын
@@TheMrSandMan11 Gotcha. This wouldn't apply to fish though... Fish learn the giant finger does them no harm and eventually stop freaking out or being shy. So many questions. How many hours of heatlamp and why almond leaves and almond water. And how often to feed. This is awesome
@gerardputhiyaveetil67864 жыл бұрын
OK so from what I understand the leaf is supposed to lower the pH of the water and the Almond water is cause majority of the fishes are freshwater/stream type and so they are found in areas with vegetation surrounding them, leaves fall in streams/ponds/rivers all the time and change color due to the tannin in leaves. My guess is adding it to the tank makes the betta feel at home? Which would explain the added vegetation and all to replicate a live ecosystem. This is purely speculation but since the added water to the tank could be chlorinated or added substances in it, the leaf is meant to balance the pH and the 50% water and added almond water is meant to replicate natural stream water.
