The 2011 version is an insult to the original movie. No one will ever sing "Footloose" as well as Kenny Loggins. The new "countryfied" is horrible. Thank you for putting this mix to the original music. It was and still is the best.

Very well done. Like the way it was put together. Never saw any part of the new version before bc the original was from my era & I didn't want those memories ruined. Gotta admit, just watching this lil bit from the new one, the dancing was good. I still hafta go with the '84 version tho...my era. Again, great job putting this together! :)

you can always tell who the youngsters are and who the people are that were around when the original was made. nice video, interesting to see how much they tried to stay true to the original while still bringing in newer styles of dance.

I liked the 1984 version the best but it's such an upbeat song and video you can't help but move with it. We sure new how to move those days. Today all anyone does is jump up and down (no footwork). Thanks for sharing.:)

I literally grew up with Kevin Bacon in Footloose so I was one of the hold outs on the second version of this film I just watched it a week ago and I was impressed. 32 now watching footloose since I was six, and new footloose was an HONEST remake not changing much and keeping story line true. I really like the way the new movie starts a little better than the original tells us why the town is like this better than the original. However I still like Keven as Ren a little better but still worth it

Dennis Quaid (2011) was excellent imo. He wasnt just "preaching" but we could see, as you said, and moreover "feel" the reasons why this law was passed. Its just a teen "feel good" movie, not an Oscar contender. Quaid was more than adequate. But you know what ? I think the best Reverend Shaw in the 2011 version would have been ... Kevin Bacon. What an awesome loop those two movies would have been. Can you imagine Bacon as Shaw ? (!!!) Wow. I wonder if they thought about it. Thx man.

I was actually surprised i liked the remake, I didn't think I would. This is a very rare remake that is almost as good as the Original. I love all the old characters and loved the new ones.......Kenny Wormald is quite a hottie....
