Hello Explorers i wanted to start by saying a massive thank you for clicking on to my video, this video was filmed around 2 years ago and going through my hard drive i found it and cant believe i never uploaded it.
THERE IS STRONG LANGUAGE SO WARNING TO YOU NOW!!!
The story of Oak Manor, the house was built in the early 1900's and believe it or not it was built over a little graveyard, the Lord of the Manor was married and they had one little girl. All seemed a normal family living in the manor house with its own servants quarters, the story goes the lord was sleeping with the servant, and the twist of the story is the wife was murdered half a mile from the house near a river under a bridge. But the killer was never caught, a few years later the little girl was strangled in the basement, and the servant was arrested but released on bail, and later that day the servant hung herself in the basement of the old manor. But locals still say today that the Lord committed the murder of his wife and child, but was never caught and lived his life to the mid late 70's.
After the Death of the Lord the house was watched over by his brothers son who passed away in the late 80s and since then the manor house sits empty and in decay, a local also confirms the wife that was murdered used to sit in the loft on her rocking chair watching out the window and people say they have seen her still to this day. It was her room of escape and up there she sat painting in a world of her own, and the local also confirms that the brother who stayed there to watch over the place used to hear a child running around and footsteps all through the night.
Guys i kid you not exploring this Manor house we heard child foot steps someone walking around, and the EVP picked up voices, also the rocking chair OH MY GOD it was rocking..
Believe what you wish but i can assure everything was true, were an explore channel not a ghost channel but we borrowed a EVP and a K2 meter, which was picking up all sorts.

I heard footsteps above and the chair started rocking and stopped like you both had disturbed someone....also perfume scent doesn’t linger in a room for decades. Agree something paranormal is going on. You two make a great team.Great to see more retros.

Its said at 44:02 that they sprayed it. Chair seems pretty much legit though why did he cut at 38:57 when he was already going straight at the room. Calling it bs until I see the uncut footage. Well executed tho

I am so so glad you showed us a throwback! Please do more! This might be by far the most interesting house. Not sure because of the back story; but every twist and turn was intriguing from the noise of the bottles, the rocking chair to the steps and noises- like a thriller! Thank you for taking us to every nook, cranny, stairs and doors as well as ALL the floors. I'm glad you looked for hidden passages or space between the walls. One of if not thee best. You guys are great together, love your personalities.

You can really imagine the fire crackling, radio or gramophone playing records in the background, a couple sitting in the chairs with the man smoking a cigar or pipe, and the wind whistling outside. Servants busy at work in the kitchen and house cleaning and cooking. Catching up on the gossip while they were working long hours. Britain used to build houses that lasted. I didn’t feel creeped out but definitely makes you wonder what happens when we die. Love you and Mark together. Please do Throw Back Thursdays, I’ll have something to look forward to every week. You are so lucky to see these amazing properties. Thank you

The rocking chair freaked me out. Had the same experience as a kid. We bought a home and on moving day, my mom, brother and I were bringing in boxes after the furniture was in and our rocking chair was moving full speed. No one there. My mom almost fell backwards. My brother went to stop it and it stopped dead by itself. That was the start of many things to come. Enjoyed your video. It was really interesting.

I have lived in several haunted houses. If you do not have anywhere else to go & very little cash you just have to learn to stay calm & not react too much when things happen. If you get het up they can use that energy. I was lucky in that the first house which was obviously haunted had a really loving & protective spirit present & one night the spirit waked me & warned me about someone leaving a candle burning that was not safe & so saved us from being in a fire. Later I lived in a house where the ghost of a young woman repeatedly walked across the dining area & then disappeared. I didn't realise it was not an ordinary person at first. The next house I lived in was not quite so peaceful & in that house I was attacked which I understand is rare. The house I currently live in was occupied by a very jovial old man, when I moved in, & it fell to me to explain to him that he had passed on. Fortunately once I had told him that the good thing was this meant that he didn't have to stay here any longer, but could move on to where he needed to be next, he felt able to leave. As he hasn't been back he must have found where he needed to be. Its only dead people & we are all taking that journey but I remember last time around & can tell you that death is nothing you need to fear but you can make the journey easier on yourself if you are not hampered by regrets & guilt, so be patient & forgiving of others as well as yourself & avoid doing things you may wish you hadn't. Be ready to apologise for mistakes & do your best to make amends. These things will help to keep your energy straight & make transitions easier for you.

I can relate and frankly I did not believe in ghosts until I experienced their energy. Regret plays a huge part in why the spirits do not cross offer. The belief the spirit can change the past and make it right when we all know you cannot change the past it is what it is.

@sarahstrong7174

@@peezybaybeh I have had a variety of experiences which seemed to involve some sort of connection with something. Not just seeing ghosts but telepathy & healings. I do not know what to call it but I think that we do all have these connections but I seem to have more experiences than most. I do not know why, but maybe open-mindedness may have something to do with it. I have some memory from my previous lifetimes & think I might have become very clear in my last life due to having been a Buddhist monk & maybe that is the explaination for my experiences. It has become clear to me that whilst we may seem to forget our previous lifetimes we do not forget everything we learn, particularly those deep lessons that form our characters.

I've watched almost all of your videos whilst in lockdown and was wondering how you actually find places. In some videos the best with mikey you two just bounce off each other unlike many explorers who are just blah or errr here's a lampshade lol. It's amazing how many places in the uk are just left to rot yet you head in to Manchester and theres so many people living rough these days. I like the fact that you actually genuinely respect the places you go into and that's one of the main reasons I subscribe and watch, you're not an average uk D*_# LOL. Keep exploring and keep wandering, not enough people ask questions but think they already know the answers these days lol

Loved this video I couldn't stop laughing at the pair of you when you were getting so scared because I'd probably wet myself but would still want to look at the place. I have to say I heard the footsteps and also heard a woman's voice. The spirits there were as inquisitive of you as you were of them that's why you felt like someone was watching because they were. Well done for lasting the night and must say it's the best paranormal and most real paranormal i've seen or heard in a long time. Those paintings are beautiful no wonder they were bringing your attention to them with the rocking chair. This is not the first time I've heard voices or footsteps when you've been exploring you'd be surprised how many of your video's contain it not all but there are quite a lot. I saw the rocking chair moving. When you had a closer look at it the bace of it looked like it was a Spring design rather than a traditional rocker. If that's the case it wouldn't be rocking from a draft or a nudge, and I can't imagine a string would do the job. Really good catch 👍🏻

Hi Guy's this was a truly great explore 😎 @ around 1.06.50 I saw two orbs as Mark goes up the stairs and turns round, something drops ? ? The first one was quite faint but the second one that travels in front of the archway is really clear. I did hear the footsteps as well. This was a very scary place indeed 👻☠ 🙂🍻👍🏻

In answer to your question, yes, there are discorporate spirits who remain earthside. Some return to the places that were familiar to them. Others gravitate to places near where they died because it possesses an 'energy' or arena which isn't hostile to its residence, or perhaps it mistakes as being familiar. Most of those who remain earthbound, spirits, are either trapped here by unfinished business, personal tragedy, injustice unremedied, confusion, or no formal religious affiliation but who are either gentle, innocent beings, or spirits of those who know that if they do cross over they'll be damned, or fear they will be, and thus refuse to go. Incidentally, when you visit these places, just a small hint of advice: it's unwise to play a note of a piano or ring an idle bell as there's no telling who will respond to this summons; it may 'awaken' someone just like you mentioned. As for the Ouija board, that one was in a much older configuration, and the piece you place your fingertips on, your index and middle, is called a planchette--pron: plann shet . And I have to tell you this, both of you have very, VERY strong Guardia Angels, because they prevented the planchette from moving, and thereby prevented the spirit which responded to your questions by buzzing from the other room, and YES there really was one there and HE wasn't wholesome, from coming through and attaching to you. No matter what anyone else tells you, and I don't give a damn what Degree or Certificate of Authority they hold, Ouija boards and Tarot cards are unbelievably dangerous tools in the hands of ANYBODY!! Not just the unwitting. Who am I to say or know this? I'm one who knows from experience only too well. I've also been seeing and sensing spirits since I was four years old. And I just found out something very interesting last April from a professional anesthesiologist. He gave me a tremendous insight into the machinations of the human mind, my own for own, and perhaps for hundreds of not thousands of others down the centuries. A little known fact that to my knowledge has never, if it has been clinically studied, been published to a public news program, newspaper or magazine. If you ever want to know more about it text me at chinch14mw@gmail.com and I'll be happy to fill you in. In the meantime, I really liked this video even if it is an older one (and your language doesn't bother me a bit.) I ran across a "language educator" book in a bookstore years ago that offered to teach would be travelers how to prepare themselves for journeys to both Old England and the Old South. England's was one page with the simple advisory that if one has virgin ears don't bother going because it's commonplace for mothers, fathers, teenagers, toddlers, vicars, teachers, professors, clerks, Prime Ministers, Guards, CEO's, nuns, bus drivers, bakers, waitstaff, maitre deez

Mary C Wallace ..... you are a wack-a-doodle ....... you talk about what you know...... you don’t KNOW shit...... all you are doing is making crazy assumptions and wild guesses ...... until you are dead you WILL NOT AND CANNOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT, IF ANYTHING HAPPENS after you die !!!!!...... so keep on making up your stories if they make you feel as if you are unique and special although all they do is make you sound like another female with low self esteem wanting SOMEONE..... ANYONE to notice you!!!!

A year or so late but re watching again as it popped up on my search.. wanted to say that I enjoy all your videos including the ones with paranormal and please continue them as well. I adore your sense of compassion for the home as you honor to put it back the way you found it. Your keen eye for detail is top notch and please continue that.. Seeing such beauty from another country is a thrill and I do hope the homes and the contents will be reconstructed as well the families to get the memorabilia. But please, continue the path of how you feel comfortable filming as I’m sure we will enjoy it! Good luck always to you, David and Mark!

Hi. I have enjoyed your adventures!!! Keep making videos captioned or subtitled as I am deaf. I really really enjoy old houses and it’s amazing that you go into houses that was left alone. The board you and your friend played with..... I suggest you not touch them ever again. Just use the EVP and whatever else you have on you because the board invites too many negative entities. When you both breathed air it meant there was someone else in the room with you guys. Anytime it gets colder and your air is noticeable in the house - there’s a spirit with you guys right then. Just letting you know. I have had my share. They don’t hurt you don’t worry. They are just trying to blend in our world. Stuck in our world maybe.

I'm coming along to your channel as of yesterday and catching up quickly because your explores are so respectful. I also love haunted videos because I think that sometimes energy can imprint itself on a place. I'm very interested in the history of these places and would love to know the names of both the place, and of the family. I can't travel any longer as I am 50 years old and not in the best of health due to an accident 20 years ago, I'm also all the way in Phoenix Arizona USA so I am quite far away. That rocking chair rocking itself shocked me a bit even though I knew it was coming, and the footsteps running upstairs were definitely there. I am an artist and although I normally draw animals I would like to talk with you about being able to use screenshots of your footage to draw some of these places.

This video is my favorite! I would have wet myself if I would have been there. Once my friends and I stayed overnight in a haunted house. We slept in lawn chairs in the living room. In the early morning hours one of my friends and I heard someone running upstairs , they ran down the stairs and directly in front of us. It was pitch dark, I got goose bumps on my goosebumps, fumbled for my flashlight, but it was over before I could find it!

Very good video. I heard lots of different things including the footsteps. The pointer on the ouija board is called a planchette. Sometimes spirits are just curious about the people that visit and don't want to interact as long as they know you are not vandals. I believe you were safe. Take care.

Enjoyed the video, I lived in an haunted area growing up, so I do believe, but not really into the paranormal stuff, as people abuse the idea. You and Mark were just so natural, not playing up to the idea at all, and Mark don't let the bats freak you out by not moving, they were hibernating. Keep up the vids dont worry about the odd F words, a hell of a lot of people use them at times.

Loved this one. I saw the rocking chair moving straight away. When in the basement the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Did anyone else hear the noises at 48:54 and at 54:24 ? That stamper on the desk by the gong, I reckon if you had put a plain piece of paper in it and then pulled down the handle, it would have embossed an address or similar onto the paper. Great ... keep it up guys.
