I heard footsteps above and the chair started rocking and stopped like you both had disturbed someone....also perfume scent doesn’t linger in a room for decades. Agree something paranormal is going on. You two make a great team.Great to see more retros.

I am so so glad you showed us a throwback! Please do more! This might be by far the most interesting house. Not sure because of the back story; but every twist and turn was intriguing from the noise of the bottles, the rocking chair to the steps and noises- like a thriller! Thank you for taking us to every nook, cranny, stairs and doors as well as ALL the floors. I'm glad you looked for hidden passages or space between the walls. One of if not thee best. You can really imagine the fire crackling, radio or gramophone playing records in the background, a couple sitting in the chairs with the man smoking a cigar or pipe, and the wind whistling outside. Servants busy at work in the kitchen and house cleaning and cooking. Catching up on the gossip while they were working long hours. Britain used to build houses that lasted. I didn’t feel creeped out but definitely makes you wonder what happens when we die. Love you and Mark together. Please do Throw Back Thursdays, I’ll have something to look forward to every week. Dave, don't fret. You are one of my very favorite explorers. Earlier, I watched an explore you did 4 years ago with Mark and man. Can I see that you've matured in how you present your videos. From the F-bomb coming out of your mouth every turn to becoming the respectful man you are today. This is truly a blessing. Of course, what you say off of camera I suppose this I'll never know. You are genuinely a really nice dude, and I can see you do everything you can to attempt to please your "picky" viewers. Don't sweat the small stuff. When you get my age down the road abit you will understand why. Thank you for all the walking, work, time, effort, expenses you put in, etc, to put these awesome videos together. I just want you to know you are very much appreciated. And your viewers who watch you know you're doing your best to put out the best. And why people won't subscribe or watch these videos throughout is way beyond comprehension. Because you aren't asking for them to lick your boots. Afterall. We will leave that for another. Ugh, viewers: "Just subscribe and watch throughout." Just so you know I have and "I do.". LOL 2 words I've never said to anybody else. Stay safe, and don't get caught either way! P€ac€ ~n~ £0¥€✌️

The rocking chair freaked me out. Had the same experience as a kid. We bought a home and on moving day, my mom, brother and I were bringing in boxes after the furniture was in and our rocking chair was moving full speed. No one there. My mom almost fell backwards. My brother went to stop it and it stopped dead by itself. That was the start of many things to come. Enjoyed your video. It was really interesting.

I have lived in several haunted houses. If you do not have anywhere else to go & very little cash you just have to learn to stay calm & not react too much when things happen. If you get het up they can use that energy. I was lucky in that the first house which was obviously haunted had a really loving & protective spirit present & one night the spirit waked me & warned me about someone leaving a candle burning that was not safe & so saved us from being in a fire. Later I lived in a house where the ghost of a young woman repeatedly walked across the dining area & then disappeared. I didn't realise it was not an ordinary person at first. The next house I lived in was not quite so peaceful & in that house I was attacked which I understand is rare. The house I currently live in was occupied by a very jovial old man, when I moved in, & it fell to me to explain to him that he had passed on. Fortunately once I had told him that the good thing was this meant that he didn't have to stay here any longer, but could move on to where he needed to be next, he felt able to leave. As he hasn't been back he must have found where he needed to be. Its only dead people & we are all taking that journey but I remember last time around & can tell you that death is nothing you need to fear but you can make the journey easier on yourself if you are not hampered by regrets & guilt, so be patient & forgiving of others as well as yourself & avoid doing things you may wish you hadn't. Be ready to apologise for mistakes & do your best to make amends. These things will help to keep your energy straight & make transitions easier for you.

I don't believe in spirits but I believe in what you say in the last several sentences of your last paragraph.
@gloriahanes64904 жыл бұрын
I can relate and frankly I did not believe in ghosts until I experienced their energy. Regret plays a huge part in why the spirits do not cross offer. The belief the spirit can change the past and make it right when we all know you cannot change the past it is what it is.
@peezybaybeh4 жыл бұрын
Sounds to me that you may have the second sight. Have you ever thought of that?
@sarahstrong71744 жыл бұрын
@@peezybaybeh I have had a variety of experiences which seemed to involve some sort of connection with something. Not just seeing ghosts but telepathy & healings. I do not know what to call it but I think that we do all have these connections but I seem to have more experiences than most. I do not know why, but maybe open-mindedness may have something to do with it. I have some memory from my previous lifetimes & think I might have become very clear in my last life due to having been a Buddhist monk & maybe that is the explaination for my experiences. It has become clear to me that whilst we may seem to forget our previous lifetimes we do not forget everything we learn, particularly those deep lessons that form our characters.

In answer to your question, yes, there are discorporate spirits who remain earthside. Some return to the places that were familiar to them. Others gravitate to places near where they died because it possesses an 'energy' or arena which isn't hostile to its residence, or perhaps it mistakes as being familiar. Most of those who remain earthbound, spirits, are either trapped here by unfinished business, personal tragedy, injustice unremedied, confusion, or no formal religious affiliation but who are either gentle, innocent beings, or spirits of those who know that if they do cross over they'll be damned, or fear they will be, and thus refuse to go. Incidentally, when you visit these places, just a small hint of advice: it's unwise to play a note of a piano or ring an idle bell as there's no telling who will respond to this summons; it may 'awaken' someone just like you mentioned. As for the Ouija board, that one was in a much older configuration, and the piece you place your fingertips on, your index and middle, is called a planchette--pron: plann shet . And I have to tell you this, both of you have very, VERY strong Guardia Angels, because they prevented the planchette from moving, and thereby prevented the spirit which responded to your questions by buzzing from the other room, and YES there really was one there and HE wasn't wholesome, from coming through and attaching to you. No matter what anyone else tells you, and I don't give a damn what Degree or Certificate of Authority they hold, Ouija boards and Tarot cards are unbelievably dangerous tools in the hands of ANYBODY!! Not just the unwitting. Who am I to say or know this? I'm one who knows from experience only too well. I've also been seeing and sensing spirits since I was four years old. And I just found out something very interesting last April from a professional anesthesiologist. He gave me a tremendous insight into the machinations of the human mind, my own for own, and perhaps for hundreds of not thousands of others down the centuries. A little known fact that to my knowledge has never, if it has been clinically studied, been published to a public news program, newspaper or magazine. If you ever want to know more about it text me at chinch14mw@gmail.com and I'll be happy to fill you in. In the meantime, I really liked this video even if it is an older one (and your language doesn't bother me a bit.) I ran across a "language educator" book in a bookstore years ago that offered to teach would be travelers how to prepare themselves for journeys to both Old England and the Old South. England's was one page with the simple advisory that if one has virgin ears don't bother going because it's commonplace for mothers, fathers, teenagers, toddlers, vicars, teachers, professors, clerks, Prime Ministers, Guards, CEO's, nuns, bus drivers, bakers, waitstaff, maitre deez

I love you guys! You were really brave doing that, especially after dark! My heart was racing, made worse by the fact I live alone and I’m watching it in the dark!! Not a good move on my part! 😂 thank you both xxx

At 29 mins as you go into the bathroom there is a childs voice saying something !! Great video!👍♥️

Very good video. I heard lots of different things including the footsteps. The pointer on the ouija board is called a planchette. Sometimes spirits are just curious about the people that visit and don't want to interact as long as they know you are not vandals. I believe you were safe. Take care.

A year or so late but re watching again as it popped up on my search.. wanted to say that I enjoy all your videos including the ones with paranormal and please continue them as well. I adore your sense of compassion for the home as you honor to put it back the way you found it. Your keen eye for detail is top notch and please continue that.. Seeing such beauty from another country is a thrill and I do hope the homes and the contents will be reconstructed as well the families to get the memorabilia. But please, continue the path of how you feel comfortable filming as I’m sure we will enjoy it! Good luck always to you, David and Mark!

I didnt pay any attention to the supernatural stuff the first time I watched, I was just soaking up the way the house looks. Guess my next watch I'll have to keep my eyes and ears focused on the other stuff. Great find and explore!

When your camera goes blurry, a life force has crossed your screen or is standing in front of you. It gives off energy and screws with your camera. I've seen this many times. This house is sooooo haunted !!! Freaky, kewl !!! Thanks for doing this guys. You ROCK !!! ♥️♥️♥️
@janicesperry77802 жыл бұрын
I heard everything you and Mark heard. Definitely a childs footsteps. I was laughing so hard when you guys were in the basement.That was freaky! And then you two went back down there....brave. 😲😁 So glad I found your channel. Your explorations with Mark are my favorite ones. Love you both loads...all the way from S.Dakota U.S.A. p.s. the rocking chair was insane.

I'm coming along to your channel as of yesterday and catching up quickly because your explores are so respectful. I also love haunted videos because I think that sometimes energy can imprint itself on a place. I'm very interested in the history of these places and would love to know the names of both the place, and of the family. I can't travel any longer as I am 50 years old and not in the best of health due to an accident 20 years ago, I'm also all the way in Phoenix Arizona USA so I am quite far away. That rocking chair rocking itself shocked me a bit even though I knew it was coming, and the footsteps running upstairs were definitely there. I am an artist and although I normally draw animals I would like to talk with you about being able to use screenshots of your footage to draw some of these places.

New to the channel and I’m completely hooked. Binge watched this afternoon totally fascinated. I’m also on the Adam Mark channel and love the way you explorers are different in your approach but always so respectful of the places you visit. Yes, that chair rocked on its own! I would have been straight out of there! Well I’m off to watch another one 😊 thank you.

I just watched this and my heart was pounding. I also laugh when I am scared, lol. These beautiful homes make me sad, the stories behind them, the families that walked away, the love stories and the history! I am so glad I found this channel. Thank you for what you do!!!!! Also, the moment I saw that rocking chair rocking all by itself, my ass would have been out of there.

Ok see it again. Marker 1:14:9/1:18:30. It maybe a lil before that upstairs front of house. Window to the right of the center bay window. There's a door before it. Plz tell me someone else saw it!

Hi. I have enjoyed your adventures!!! Keep making videos captioned or subtitled as I am deaf. I really really enjoy old houses and it’s amazing that you go into houses that was left alone. The board you and your friend played with..... I suggest you not touch them ever again. Just use the EVP and whatever else you have on you because the board invites too many negative entities. When you both breathed air it meant there was someone else in the room with you guys. Anytime it gets colder and your air is noticeable in the house - there’s a spirit with you guys right then. Just letting you know. I have had my share. They don’t hurt you don’t worry. They are just trying to blend in our world. Stuck in our world maybe.

Hi Guy's this was a truly great explore 😎 @ around 1.06.50 I saw two orbs as Mark goes up the stairs and turns round, something drops ? ? The first one was quite faint but the second one that travels in front of the archway is really clear. I did hear the footsteps as well. This was a very scary place indeed 👻☠ 🙂🍻👍🏻

Not to freak you out anymore and it was a while ago but when you guys were trying to get the door jammed door open there was a light blinking in the downstairs doorway. Might wanna go back n check that out again. Also, the rocking chair was DEFINITELY rocking in a really stiff unnatural way. Creepy!!!

This is the second time I have seen this. It came across my feed today. This is one my favorite videos that you have done Dave. It keeps me on the edge of my seat. So much activity and the rocking chair was awesome. Only the first time I saw you enter the room and the chair was moving I thought I heard an old lady say "Hello". This time I did not. So strange. Maybe that was another video though. Anyways a very eerie feel to this old place. I scrolled down through the comments to see if I could find my comment from the first time I watched this a few months ago and I can't find it. Oh, well. Thanks for a great video Dave and Mark. Mark , I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mom. The child's footsteps along the hall with the banister and the growl afterwards was scary.
