Hey I just want everyone to know that I purchased 3 instructional videos from coach Anthony and I’m already a Better boxer than I was last week. I bought the footwork video, defense 101, and how to create angles. Definitely worth the buy and the fact that coach Anthony is giving out discount on top of discount, you can’t beat that. I’ve been to two gyms and Ive learned a lot more from Coach Ant. So worth the buy. Remember this tho, you’re not going to become a better fighter just knowing the sport. You have to practice it. Coach Ant his giving you the knowledge of how to sharpen your tools. Much love!

Didn't stick with it in my teens, but picked up boxing at 29 after I got sober. Your drills have been keeping me in shape when I can't get to the gym, or when I was recovering my wrist from throwing an improper hook on the heavy bag. Thanks, Coach.

Subscribed! Great video Coach Anthony. Some people think that heavy bag is only good for power, and mitts are superior overall. However, imho, I think if you know how to simulate a fight, than heavy bag potentially can be better than mitts. You can implement speed, footwork, defense, coordination, angles, as well as power, and if you are into mma or wrestling at all than you can use the weight of the bag to practice throws and slams. High schools should really implement a heavy bag program if they're reluctant to have a boxing one. Thank you Coach!

One day at the fight club i was boxing training, the coach mr. Babis paired me with a really skilled boxer, who's been training for 15 years and me only couple of years. As an amateur as i am, i started the light sparring with out holding my left hook at 10% to the coach 's request, and i let it go with speed and power, and managed a strong strike to the head and my opponent not being ready for this!!. He got mad, and before i knew what hit me he slipped to the inside, and he unleashed a thunderous hook combo to my head which almost put the lights out to me!! I didn't say a word to him, and kept going til the coach called "time" to stop the session with me trying to avoid his closing distance and not get knoked out as he intented to do so by the looks of it during the session. If i had watched this clip before the incident, i wouldnt take his combo hooks that almost put me to sleep like a sitting duck as i did..

Yo Tevin Farmer, he kept staying in his opponents range, had poor head movement and foot work. It was sad to watch him fail that way. Not the Tevin farmer im used to seeing. He did it almost every round though. Crazy that happened with all the knowledge in his corner. Shout out to him. At least he stayed on his feet and went the full distance receiving lots of punishment. That takes a lot of heart and will. Hes still a champ. I hope to see him back soon.
@CoachAnthonyBoxing3 жыл бұрын
Alot the public doesn't know. So maybe one day tevin will speak out on it. All and all He has had a Fantastic career Staring 7-4 Wining 20 straight, tearing a bicep, getting shot in the hand, getting robbed for his first title attempt. The opponent getting cought on steroids. Fighting for another world title. Winning and defending 6 times. Not a bad career for someone who started at 19 with 15 amateur bouts.

Hey Coach, big of your videos - you have so much great content! I've been boxing for about 10 years and I'm trying to train my older brother who just got into it. The one thing I can't seem to get him to stop doing is leaning forward and losing his balance a bit when he throws longer combinations. I've tried to give him drills where he's gotta bounce backwards after his shots a bit so that he can't overcommit, but as soon as he goes back to doing his own thing he falls back into bad habits... got any suggestions?

I wanna pick your brain a little bit coach🧠😁🥊, but quick question?? When you PERSONALLY are transferring or teaching Someone to transfer their weight for any purpose like slipping to the front-foot, or like maybe the position you might be in AFTER throwing that "BIG LEFT-HOOK" TO THE HEAD, WOULD you say that THE/YOUR leg that has most of the weight ON-IT at that particular moment should be BENT? or SHOULD the leg with most of the weight on it be more "STRAIGHT" rather than BENT? Or like would you just say that the legs&knees should be just pretty much slightly bent the same-way regardless OF how& when You're transferring your weight? Could you maybe point me to one of your old videos for this advice or just let me know what you think coach please & thanks!!
