The little instrument at the beginning is called “scacciapensieri”. And it’s a very tipical Sicilian instrument

The little instrument, in the start, is called a Jew Harp. The story goes when Sarah Hicks came to the orchestra, she realized that nobody could play it, at least not enough. So one of her first jobs was to tech them how to play the Jewharpe. If you don't know, Sarah Hatsuko Hicks is a US-American born in Japan in the year 1970 or 1971??? She has worked all over the world as guest conductor, as seen here. Her private and professional story is very unusual, both of them. Look her up, there are videos about her here on YT. I think she is living in California, but she is linked to an Orchestra in Minnesota, more to investigate.

A fine reaction dudes. If you stay with DNSO I can warmly recommend the theme for Once Upon a Time in America, it is very beautiful. Or the theme from the Godfather, which is out of this world. Finally a jazzy, quirky number, the theme from The Pink Panther, which is lively and fun. Enjoy your musical journey gents, it is fun to watch👍😄

Hi guys. The first pocket twangy instrument, using their finger, that they started out with is known as a jaw harp or some people refer to it as a Jews harp.

Not really a crazy knowledge of spaghetti westerns, he's watched the dollars trilogy but if you were to ask him about Ringo, The Great Silence, Death Rides a Horse, Django or any other spaghetti western I really doubt he would have seen or even heard of them. Not to downplay how nice it is to see young people have interest in the classics, but he didn't even know that spaghetti westerns were Italian.

'Once Upon a Time in the West' great western.
@steenjacobsen14743 жыл бұрын
All the spagetti westerns was performed in the same concert, together with other Morricone soundtracks. Try something diffrent: Leias Theme or Cantina band, Interstellar, Bladerunner, Pink panther. But their traditionals are good as well. Also not forget the DR Choirs, perhaps try Double Trouble. (Sorry for the repost. But it seems you pick from your last DNO video)

"Fist Full of Dollars" also has a great score and is a better movie than "For a Few Dollars More". The little twangy instrument is called a Jews Harp. The greatest western ever made is "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly".

The little mouth gizmo was originally called a Jew's Harp by folk when I was a kid 60 years ago. It has had many names over the years but I think it is now called a Jaws Harp due to political correctness.
