Thank you my friend, non duality is a true path and so is the recognition of no self, some teachers even here on Quora are amazing at pointing that out. And thank you to them. It is true however, that there is big difference between understanding it mentally and perceiving it directly. And it pains my heart a bit if some people use this wonderful teaching and realisation of no self to cling to another identity, the identity of « no self ». I do believe préparation is needed and I personally needed 7years of sadhana to be able to perceive this and accept if totally. After that, life is never the same. It might not be good for everyone to hear this according to where they are at, and I think it is a good reminder for us all, myself included. First of all purification and surrender to the divine is advisable, because when it really happens, you will be alone. Love to all,

Also if your not on FB all day reading other people's non-duality post, you can free yourself from the urgency to post how wrong non-duality thinking is. If you want to believe spirit comes into the body instead of the body coming from spirit that's fine. It's BELIEF, you can do with it what you like. BELIEF is not the same as truth. If your playing the blame game in any of it's modifications, there is a high chance that your thoughts system is still in it's immature stage. For instance if what I say here upsets you, then you might still be taking things personally which would indeed align with someone steeped in the egos defensiveness. Presence and stillness of mind allows a person to not only reflect on the stories we tell others about ourselves but we can observe the cultural stories we tell collectively. Regardless of the stories, presence is the one unchanging essence throughout them all. The stories can change on a dime. The unchanging part that is shared is the universal truth among us. Oneness. When we see ourselves as separate, fear finds places to hide in the stories. Without the dependence on the stories, what's left is peace of mind. If by chance this sounds crazy, remember that crazy is sometimes merely the opposite of a current thought system. You've had experiences where you've had complete paradigm shifts in thinking before. Most of them came with shock and awe. Some came with uncontrollable laughter. Some you labeled triggers. Some still await and may come in the form of that one person you didn't ever want to see walk in the room. Non-duality may not be the final truth to everything, but it is a step in maturing ones mind to seeing valid points of view.
