This guy is freakin creepy. He's actually content and happy she's like a living doll and completely dependent upon him. He's not in love with her, but rather, he's in love with the idea of being in love with her. He just sees her as a possession. If he was truly in love with her, he'd want all of her, mind, body, and soul. If she's trapped inside her body, that would be a fate worse than death.

Camping can be really beautyful - as long as an expensive caravan or camping trailer is used ;) That`s like driving an expensive Japanese luxury apartment into the middle of the wilderness and enjoy nature (but without any hardships, like exposure to rain cold or heat, no spiders and insects, uncomfortable sleeping on the ground in a tent, etc)

This was really creepy and very nicely written, though his reasoning for not taking her to the hospital was kind of dumb... I mean, the facility never even knew they were there? Why would they go looking for them? ... or was that the intention? Is he just trying to make excuses, so he can keep her as she is?
@Twulfbynight9 жыл бұрын
If I had to guess I'd say he was just making excuses. He's obviously a few rounds short of a full clip.

great story. I really loved the whole 'something creepy in the woods' aspect to your story, I love tales where unsuspecting, usually young folk go into the woods and encounter something scary. I think you put a nice twist on the tale though with exactly *what* it was they discovered, and then what happened after. Brilliant characterisation as well, I felt you really described and built up the two characters which made them very real to me, and made their motives and behaviour believable and the story all the more chilling. The narrator does a great job too, perfect voice and tone for this story.

@Macabremalifica: That's a very interesting comment, and I would have replied directly to you, but the replies on your comment appear 'disabled'. I did consider some of the things you raise when I was writing it. If you listen to the narration or read the writing, the character believes in relationships lasting forever. This is covered at the beginning when he discusses his father. If he takes her to the hospital, and word gets out, the people from the facility could come looking for them. If he takes her to a private doctor and gets her 'cured', she has control of her own life again and can leave him. If he keeps her as she is, she can never leave him. In your head its the dungeon you mention - in mine it's a very emotionally and mentally disturbed man retaining his girlfriend, who he believes he is in love with, so he can take care of her 'for always.' He never wanted his girlfriend to leave him, and now she couldn't even if she wanted to. That's why he keeps her as she is.The clue was when he tells you the drug has really helped their relationship. His girlfriend lets him take care of her now and doesn't need her independence anymore. Thanks for your feedback. :)

Sakinah Jonas-Mawji Yes ma'am... But I can only take credit for production. Really loved this story a lot. I always get annoyed by those idiots who run into danger or the haunted house or in the secret hidden facility, even when their friends/lovers/family tell them not to. But there they go anyway, running straight toward danger like dumb-asses. They either get themselves killed or, worse, the people trying to help them. So yes, I enjoyed this story very much because of the slight turn of events. :)

Interesting variation on the creepy, possessive male creepypasta. Rather than going through the typical gory and deluded (well, the protagonist is still somewhat deluded) stalker tale with an unreliable narrator, this story proves itself horrifying by establishing a real relationship between its characters(although told from just one perspective), riddled with understandable differences and frustrations, that reveals itself nightmarish by the decisions the man takes at the end. Just think of how many real people (how many men) would go through that road if given the chance, and what does that say about the way that we view love.
