I would recommend "Queen in 5 minutes" and "Panic at the Disco in 4 minutes part I and II" for the vocals of the members in this video. For the current members (Cesar), the Halo theme and If I were a rich Man/Girl (feat Ashley Diane)

Thanks for the additions, Rose! My excel sheet is so long I can't keep track lmao. I think I need to use a tally system so if I see multiple people asking for something I just check it out. I've had more enjoyable experiences by what people recommended vs me just going on and picking stuff at random -- because I can't pre screen if it's worth it. lol Thanks for hanging out!

Voice Play has improved and keeps improving, every production. You need to check out Geoff on his channel for Monster Mash, Then not holloween but super good. Host the Flag, My Mother Told Me Friends on the Other side. Geoff the bass has about a ,4-5 Octave range, Eli the high tenor not sure he can be measured. Home Fry here and Voice Play lover.

I've never seen the movie, just a short clip from it, it's not my thing, but I love what VoicePlay do with these songs. They also do Kidnap the Sandy Claws and What's That? Let me give you some names.. The bass is Geoff (say Jeff) Castellucci, the beatboxer/vocal percussion is Layne Stein. The bald guy who plays the major is Eli (say it as elly) Jacobson, the bearded one changing colour is Earl Elkins Jnr and the Werewolf guy is J.None. Those last two are now not part of the group sadly. Although for one or two recent videos J.None was on leave from the navy and joined them once again. In newer videos they have a new member, Cesar de la Rosa.

Don't worry about mentioning other groups. They all seem to get along with each other. Geoff, the bass, arranged the Elvira cover that Home Free did with the Oakridge boys. Rob and Adam both have appeared on videos with Voice Play and I know Geoff did a cameo on Peter Hollen's Halloween video. You might want to check out a video they did when both groups were on the sing off - Zombies versus Hillbillies it's pretty funny. In case you are afraid to re-watch the movie 😉 these are the characters they became (10 changes for makeup!) 👹 Bass (Vampire) Geoff Castellucci has his own channel and did a hysterical version of Headless Horseman and Monster Mash. 👴 Bari-Tenor (Mayor of Halloween) Eli (pronounced L.E. - short for Eliezer) incredibly versatile. Sweet and mellow as Tennessee Whiskey,but can really rock out (Carry On Wayward Son and Hoist the Colours). 😈 Baritone/Beatboxer (Demon ) Layne Stein. He and Geoff do the majority of the arrangements. Layne and Eli do lighting and sets/video. Layne also does post production work. 😈High Tenor (Behemoth - the guy in blue) Earl Elkins Jr (sadly, he left the group earlier in the year) Be sure to catch he and Eli rocking out in Queen in 5 Minutes. 🐺 Baritone (Werewolf) J None also left recently to join the Navy. He came back on his first leave to do You've Got Friends on the Other Side (from Disney's Princess and Frog). For sheer fun, Boy Bands in 5 Minutes as nd Disney medleys. (Geoff plays Ursula in Little Mermaid!) For "straight music", Carry On, Man in the Mirror, Butter For pure DRAMA, you must watch Hoist the Colours from Pirates of the Caribbean 3. It is an astonishing piece of work.

Names are a difficult thing with voiceplay. The 5 in this video are the ones most of us are the most familiar with, but 2 of them are no longer in the group. The bigger guy with the Mohawk at the end is Earl, and he left the group last year. The Werewolf is J None. He recently left to join the navy, but came back recently for their friends on the other side and a couple shorts while on leave. Their Bass is Geoff, pronounced Jeff, who I think we all have agreed isn't actually a human being. The bald guy who you pointed out has a great voice is Eli, pronounced elly. Layne is the beatboxer. They have a newer member Cesar who you will see in all of their newer releases. Hoist the Colours is a great intro into him. He is the one on the left with the dead eye in that video. They also do a lot of collaborations with various artists. Hope that was helpful.

Also, since they're not currently touring du to C19, they've channeled their energy more into upping the production values of their videos. A smart move the way things are right now. I'm going to see them as soon as they are able to start touring again 🤞!

Wonderful seeing your response, thank you! Both VoicePlay and Geoff (on his private channel) have been doing at least one Halloween release each year for awhile now. And then there are songs that kind of cross over, like Superstition. This year VP released Friends on the Other Side plus a 59 second short medley "Halloween Singers go Psycho" and Geoff did Monster Mash. All 3 are just first rate and totally worth a listen. Do the short as a double feature with one of the other two. Tennessee Whiskey is simply wonderful musically... and you'll love Eli's solo. (the guy with the horns is Layne, the beatbox. He also sings and has a gorgeous baritone. He arranged and did the video on this one.)

Layne, the beatboxer, co-owns PattyCake Productions along with former a member. Quite a bit of VoicePlay's stuff is done there because of costumes and set equipment. Eli (ell ee) is the bald guy and he is VoicePlay's utility player. Goeff only occasionally surprises me now because I know it's coming but Eli is really busting out lately. He can do so many different voices/accents. For Christmas you'll have to do their You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch.

One of their new halloween is Friends on the Other Side (this October). :) You can watch the clip beforehand (from Disney) if you aren't sure about it--familiar with it. JNone is back (he's the werewolf in this video). Also, Hoist the Colours (cover of the song from third Pirates movie). it's so fun to watch you react. Your reactions are so pure and genuine, the joy of the music is felt through the screen! also, it's okay to talk about the other groups.

From what I understand, the filming of this took from fairly early in the morning until around 11pm. Crazy degree of dedication to the filming, with all that makeup. I'm not a member of their Patreon (yet!) to get to see the behind-the-scenes videos, BUT a friend of theirs was assisting on set, and he made a BTS video- kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZapopWdZ6-Cp7c - it's really cool to see what all went into it!

Queen in 5 mins, Boy Bands in 5 mins, Panic at the Disco in 4 mins (parts 1 & 2), 21 Pilots Mashup, Carry On My Wayward Son, My Shot (from Hamilton) - those are some of their best, but really you won't regret listening to anything they do. Enjoy!

If you haven't already, Geoff Castellucci (the bass singer), his cover of The monster mash, 16tons and Saddle Up!!! Won't be disappointed! Home Free, Pentatonix and VoicePlay are fantastic and I never get bored of listening and hearing about them - keep them coming buddy! I've just subscribed I enjoy your no razzle-dazzle or complicated stuff...just you and the music - love it!!!
