It is incorrect. Personnel is a different word than personal. You had the right word in your original post. Personnel is the word you say when you are talking about people in a base or something. For example, "The base is fully staffed with 30 personnel." Personal means something that is you-based. "This is personal for me." TL:DR You used the word right. I think the strategy goes that a group of players collaborate together to form a strategy in which whenever one of them is low health, they immediately leave the game. This then replaces them with a bot, essentially supplying their team with a replacement fourth member. What is the gain in this? I have no fucking idea. But, it is what I have been able to infer.

@@Daggz90 the game was not unfinished. They tried peer to peer servers which were horrible but since have been replaced by dedicated servers. The combat system and gear system have recevied overhauls and quality of health updates that greatly improve the balance of the game. The at release combat and its state were not the fault of the developers. The whole system was brand new and learing how to properly balance the fight mechanics is very difficult and has been an ongoing process to the point where the next big update will be arriving In August for it. Ubisoft could have just said well we got your money so see ya. Instead they took the time to rebalance the entire combat experience from connection, to gear, to character balance, to game modes. They re did all of this while introducing new heroes, maps, modes and even a new faction in the Wu Lin. Saying no game deserves praise because of how it launched is rediculous. Sure you hold them accountable for it but to say it cannot be turned or is not worthy of praise when it does things right only serves to tell publishers to cut ties with properties rather than to do what has been done here. I find your comment out of touch, out of hand, and out of any actual merit for consideration of any sort of nuanced justifiable opinion.

@Züriach Ok, from what you say there is no "gear" imbalance... that's great. I don't see the point in this "progression" gear at all. It should be just matchmaking with ranks, like cs go. That's the most logical progression in this kind of competitive game to be honest. However, the lagswitch tactics on the peer to peer worries me. I was actually planning to get this game on sale or something... but peer to peer... In the Beta it wasn't really that bad, (just the pauses were annoying). I hope they add dedicated servers.

For honor is perfect compared to wildlands. But seriously, it's laughable how bad ubisoft is. Uplay is garbage, it works 25% of the time, all their games feel rushed out super buggy/glitchy. ubisoft servers are god awful. It's a shame to see all these developers throw trash out in to the market for a little $. There really is no dedication in the gaming community anymore. CD Projekt, and Kojima Productions seem like the only humble developers now. Gaming for me used to be a stress relieving hobby, I used to love gaming. They intended for the game to be a fighting game. However, they forgot that the reason fighting games uses p2p is because 1. There are only two players in any given instance and 2. fighting games are very reflex dependent with moves ocurring from as little as 8 frames of animation(so even small lag has a large impact); whereas animation in for honor often takes 18 to 20 frames to happen.

Microtransactions take the "game" out of video games. Video games now, especially ones with multiplayer, used to be such a fun way to bring people together, but now you can get your ass handed to you by an 8 year old who spent all his lunch money on these microtransactions. If anyone is seeing this now, the developers have fixed a lot of the issues Joe mentions here such as the matchmaking and connectivity. There are also new maps, modes, and heroes. Gear and the feat system are more balanced and are need2grind instead of pay2win. (In fact the microtransactions are really useless until you grind characters to high reputations and even then the in game currency is earned quite fairly) I love fighting games and the combat in this game so I personally give it an 8.5 or 9 out of 10 currently. The season pass is also actually quite worth it in this compared to other games nowadays, there is a good value. The base game goes on sale fairly frequently as well. Cheers

Basically, the Gameplay is top notch. Probably the most fun game I've played in years. But it is so held back by connection issues, a shitty gear system, and a lackluster campaign. I almost feel like they spent all their time perfecting the combat, and it shows, then they tacked on the other aspects just so the game would seem bigger. The game is fun. A lot of fun. Actually, it is entirely Ubisoft's fault. They made this game, therefore allowing the players of the game to do what they do. I think this game is for everybody who has played the f*ck out of Dark Souls PvP. The Duel system is even MORE complex and deep and you still learn new stuff after playing with a class for 100 hours. That said the Story mode is pretty lame but that's a phenomenon that is out in the industry forever when you concentrate your effort into the multiplayer. I was frustrated by this in the video too. Still, the fact that it does happen makes PvP matches where bots fill in really unpredictable and almost not worth sticking around for. They ought to fix it so that bots who are engaged in combat or even near another player will not be swapped out until out of combat or killed. Players joining the match can just spectate for a few moments while a slot frees up.

I love role playing in the story. It really makes you feel like a gifted warrior, a god among men. It makes me feel like I was a part of those wars. So I didn’t care about the story. It was the battles that I was there for.

When I had my hands on the beta it was great. I tried to be as honourable as I could. Unless they did cheese to me, in which case all honour went out the window. Once, a guy threw me off of a ledge and said "lol trash" so I threw him off and spammed "Sorry!" to which he quit the game. It's now one of my most prized memories

Asael Romo that made no sense at all. if you said this is why you don't preorder at insane prices I would agree. 60 is the going price for most new games now. multiplayer adds more replayability to an otherwise single player experience where you beat it and it's just over. a couple days playtime goes to until you get bored. companies fault if they don't want to have better servers. that said lag can ruin a game. I was excited but now I'm not even going to buy it because I'm not dealing with this bullshit anymore. I think peer to peer multiplayer needs to always have a setting to where you can limit the ping/internet speed of players you join. no one wants to play with a 300ms player

Dustin Clay multi-player is the same as a campaign maybe even less to a certain point replay value is the same as when you talk about a campaign because in multi-player it's the same thing over and over again and once the player base drops it becomes stupid and boring like in for honer rn but in campaign once you beat it on normal then you can start beating it on the hardest difficulty than collect all collectibles etc and if the story is amazing than you can replay that over and over again

Servers are STILL shit, The newest characters Mira and Jackal have OP guns and the hotfix they released had to have another hotfix 2 days later only fixing one of the mirriad bugs like for example people leaving a ranked match and causing the enemy team to not get points for a win.

I just have to say I am always so impressed with Joe's work, there are countless of other KZbinrs and reviewers but none comes close to the amount of sheer honesty and quality Joe puts into these reviews. Not even heavily funded official review, multi million dollar companies can come anywhere near this caliber of appreciation and commitment to the games Joe plays and the reviews he creates. As for this game I have it on PS4 but I prefer the 60fps PC port as I feel the frame rate makes all the difference in a game dominated by online hand to hand combat where reaction time is key so input lag and screen refresh rate needs to be up to speed to fully enjoy a game like this
