Some of you have smartly pointed out I gave Battlefront (2015) a 5/10, not a 6/10 as I thought I had in this Review. I hate that I forgot I was tougher on BF than I had thought. For this Review I was teetering back and forth between 5 and 6. Had I realized that I likely would have landed at 5. Same Score as I originally intended. However 5-6 is still reasonable, as DICE did make some real effort in so many places to improve and actually give us half or some of what we asked for, its just EA comes in and eff's with Progression and Loot Boxes due to the greed overextending into places it doesn't belong. Id stand by a 5 or 6. And Id respect anyone who says its lower on that same principle.

Not all developers work on the same systems. There would have been a particular team within DICE working on the progression systems, while others handle graphics, gameplay, etc. They actually have done a good job on most of the game, just a few adjustments need to be made to progression (which isn't actually that bad).

The worst part is, they had a great character to follow with Gideon Hask, think about he had motivation to keep fighting the Rebels since he lost his whole family to them, we could have also seen how the Imperial Remnants reformed into the First Order then began preparing to retake the galaxy and filled that giant gaping hole in the lore. I do not own the game but I have played it at my friends place for around 10 hrs now and the game play is poorly done. There are heroes who are very OP, skills of classes aren't that great, the game modes are very weak I seen better done in game that are 20 years old. The one thing a lot of people do not see how little there is put into games these days besides making it look pretty and charging $60 to $100 or more. Lastly People do not see when it comes too anything Star Wars Disney is pushing for focus on what they have created which in it self is poorly done just like this game.

+Lord Zephyros I recommend Star Wars: the old republic. It's a free multiplayer game with a mass effect -esque story system. You can play as a Sith Warrior (Vader type character), Sith Inquisitor (Sidious -type character), an Imperial Agent and a bounty hunter. All of those classes have their own storylines, which are all extremely good. The game also has jedi and republic troopers, but their stories aren't nearly as interesting.

They literally fixed the main problems with the game almost a year ago. It’s still not as good as the old battlefront, but it’s worth picking up now, plus the hero roster has expanded to include General Grievous, Obi Wan, and Count Dooku. Anakin is coming in February alongside a new large scale game mode that includes capture points and capital ship take downs.

there is some poetic irony to the fact that we the community are the rebels, EA are the empire, and the loot crates were the first Death Star. We may have won the A New Hope arch but the loot boxes are promised to make a return, in which I assume we'll be forced to face them in a Return of the Jedi type arch

The lootboxes are removed (weapon parts and star cards are unlockable leveling up or achieving a number of kills), and I think the only way you can use credits now is buying skins (which is useless now with the celebration edition). Then to level up fast (and unlock guns faster), I recommend playing the coop mode (it can get kinda grindy, but hey at least you can unlock exclusive guns).

Yeah it's sad to think about. Earlier we got games that was one hundred percent finished, no early access or early Alpha or Beta, no micro transactions, no DLC'S. We just got a completed game with the promised content. Today we get early access, Alpha versions, Beta's straight up unfinished games. From what I’ve gathered, there is a ton of cut content from the campaign. Iden was always going to defect and we would have been okay with it had the defection occurred towards the end of the campaign, anyways apparently an end game boss battle with The Zillo Beast from Clone Wars was cut.

Reborn The add on to the campaign was actually pretty good (Old Iden, etc), though still not an empire story. Also, you’re missing out on Fallen Order, it’s okay to buy an EA game if it’s good. If they get good reception from non-micro transaction games and hate from games with micro transactions they’ll figure out that we don’t want them. Just think of Jedi Fallen Order as a Respawn game, and not an EA game.
