Sirwhiskers 100 I understand thar it will (probably) have a counter, but it just doesn't fit in this game. Pretty much everything about this character feels immersion breaking, from the naruto run and the smoke bomb teleports, to the kurisagama chain swings/pulls (you thought nobuchi twirling shugoki was bad, this one is gonna look a whole lot worst) and the jump kicks (which look like they will end up being this assassin's deflect). I play lawbringer alot (PS4) but I ended up dropping him because you either spam shove with the heavy characters, because you cannot match guards quickly, or you end up losing unless your opponent sucks. This character honestly seems too fast for the game, and he most likely is gonna have the same problem as nobuchi on ranged where you parry and you cannot even hit them

Well yeah, punching people with a metal glove is badass and all, but it irks me that they'd so blatantly disregard the shield a centurion would normally have, especially with such a short one-handed sword as a weapon. Tactically speaking it makes _no sense_ to just have an empty hand like that. Even a small buckler would have been alright, or a bigger, more armored gauntlet.

well I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on shinobi weapon but why would he use 2 kusari gama when it look like he's only using the gama parts only while neglecting the other side ? see I played ninja gaiden 2 and I love how they utilize this weapon in the game. I was hoping to see how ubisoft introduce some sort of unique style of combat using both side of the kusari gama. like have a stance where you can spin the club end to make your opponent unsteady when they advance on you, or a strike that bypasses blade block but only when you gain enough spin momentum. there was so much potential but sadly ubisoft settled for the kratos duel wielding style.

Your right it does have Gladiator references the thumbs up or down being the most prominent execution as well as the caestus (spelling?) But another thing could be that true legionaires and centurions battle tactics relied heavily on the phalanx formation borrowed from the Greek hoplites is why Rome had issues invading present day Germany the Ardennes Forest kept them from forming up but who knows why Ubisoft decided on Spartacus 2.0 true realism aside I want to try him out the most of the two new heroes

i love how centurion fights with 1 sword only it looks total bad ass Edit: And his fighting techniques also looks applicable to modern life easier than other classes. ( a chef knife , or a long combat knife like machete can take his short swords place) this also make me thing that i would feel confident if i got the centurion training even against weapons or situations of our current modern life ( i mean against firearms ,and multiple attackers at narrow places like subway, nightclubs etc)

1. WHERE IS THE VIKING DLC! Knights and Samurai are getting something! Why not vikings?! 2. It bothers me a bit that the shinobi are technically not samurai and the centurion is technically not knights. It would have been better to give them their own faction. 3. From what it looks like. The centurions executions are going to be EXCEPTIONALLY long and the shinobi will feature hated long ranged grapple attacks. I don't think these guys are going to get a warm welcome once the hype dies down and they're actually in the game.
