@@mikerice8047 longer than youll live to see. A well cared for klr just wont die. Even the neglected ones just keep on going. Mine is a 1992 with almost 30k original miles (hard miles) on it and it rides and runs like brand new. Havent even done the doohickey or a carb rebuild yet and it just keeps going.

The KLR is pretty nimble for what it is but it would all be about what you're comparing it to. A dirtbike, Yes. A streetbike, no. It's good for the occasional trail and commuting around town.
