Thank you, Nathalia, for seeking out my Aunt Barbara and writing their story. It has been wonderful to see the recognition brought to these deserving women. My mother worked at JPL also but not in the same capacity as Aunt Barbara. My mother was a secretary there. And as a child growing up, I always thought Aunt Barbara was too! Of course, her work was secret and I truly didn't grasp the impact she and her colleagues had on this world until your book was published.
