I'm horrified by the feet and legs of the two surrenders who had to have been neglected for YEARS. I'm also horrified that there was a third horse left behind with the same people. What will the palomino's fate be, I wonder? I hope authorities are aware. There need to be more laws with enforcement and accountability to protect animals from horrific neglect like this. There's no excuse.
@HughLlewellyn Жыл бұрын
@@xoselhket The laws differ state by state. And even when there are laws, there isn't adequate enforcement most of the time. There just aren't enough resources or trained officers to step in and hold abusers accountable. So abuse and neglect continue.

I’m absolutely SHOCKED 😢 how people can mistreat their horses ; WHY even have a horse if they weren’t prepared to be responsible for their proper care and attention? These horses should have surrendered years ago! For any horse to be so mistreated , neglected is CRUEL. The first horse was LEFT ALONE with a halter on that destroyed the nerves in his face and was deprived of the company of other horses for over twenty years, just breaks my heart; although I would not want other horses in the “care” ( lack thereof) of this owner. It makes me so very angry that people would neglect and abuse these beautiful mammals. The ASPCA should be informed and should be charging them with animal abuse to ensure an order was issued that banned them from EVER owning ANY animals at all! You ladies have hearts of gold and it’s clear you love horses as much as I do. Thank goodness you ladies are there to give these horses much deserved love, medical attention and comfort and a better life and if necessary, end their suffering. God Bless you all. ❤️🇨🇦🙏🏻 Addendum: Nothing smells better than a horse, except your parents, your husband and your children… ❤

This channel showed up on my YT feed for the first time. I have seen horse videos with vibrant animals and just amazed at their beauty and strength. This one reached a spot in my heart where saddness lives. Many comments mentioned how the animals were neglected. Only one preivious owner was seen from the back. To me it seems as if possibly owners may all have been older and may have become unable to care for their animals. But rather than dig huge holes and shoot them they may have wanted to give the animals a chance at some kind of better life. I have never owned a horse and can only imagine how much it cost to care for them. I'm 74 myself and my body is damaged too. It is always so easy to condemn someone else. Too bad our world has come to that. I am thankful you young ladies have the ways and means to take in these gorgeous creatures and the young vet who is so dedicated is marvelous. I thank God that he put in your hearts the love and ability to do all you do. If I was an old mare--- I would count my blessings to be there with you. I would thank my old owners for giving me a chance to live. May God bless you all. And I didn't quite catch where the two mares were taken to but they may have been the least hurt. Take care all of you. I'm looking forward to seeing how the younger female with the overgrown hoves comes along and if she's in foal. Wouldn't that be fantastic to see her be able to care for her little one? I am going to subscribe and look forward to a spring birth! Seeing the ends of their lives still gives hope.
