Protip for securing items while you are moving in a clean way: buy some strong magnets and a sheet a metal. Install the magnets on the bottom of items and put the sheet of metal (make sure you buy a type that magnets are attracted to) just under the top surface of the counter. A thin sheet of wood laminate would work perfectly on top of it and you would get to keep the wood aesthetic.

A new country , new look , new name and a new life... A chance to be reborn that is all. The only aspect that makes this but a mere dream is the realistic one , no money means no freedom , running away is futile as you'll end up homeless , penniless and regret every choice you've made , so back to square one but now it's a lot worse. I can't find the right words to express how relieving and comforting it is to get a sense of belonging through this video. Thank you for being you, and sharing your dreams with the world for people like me.

i feel the exact same way, like you said giving us a chance to see what growing up really means, its taught me that growing up is growing into yourself, not just following a linear path that other people pathed

As someone who's 16 and built his own go kart. It took a lot of time, effort, money and patience to do it. I did it myself without any of my parents money or help. Seeing a 19 year old remodeling a whole van is wild. The amount of time, effort, money, and patience put in to the van must be crazy. I can't even image it. Great job Natalie, we're proud of you and I'm sure your proud of yourself. I hope your happy with your work :) Edit: Im not comparing myself. The amount of work put in to the van was wayyyy more work than my project. My point was I know what it's like to be young and do projects. But, again, her project was way way WAY more work then mine

hey! making your own kart sounds like a very cool project, im currently 16 as well, how would i be able to start learning about go karts and whatever, I want to make a go cart too!
@nathanr252 жыл бұрын
@@hello-zq8ku not gonna lie, you can only do so much with a go kart. I chose to build an off road go kart. For my purposes I wanted to take it up to the trails up in the mountains, but the go kart just couldn't handle it. If you wanted to, you probably could build one. If you don't know what your doing it's not a bad idea to ask a parent. I have a lot of experience with tools so I had something to work off of. If you don't think you can build one after reading this, don't let me keep you from doing it. However It's not a bad idea to consider buying an atv, dirt bike, or mini bike, like me, which is what I ended up buying about 2 years after I build it

GOOD JOB! I think you didn't just buy this van, you also created Spiffy. I remember there was an academic term called "delayed enjoyment", which means that you don't care if you can finish the task or not, but you finish it step by step and then you feel happy when you finish the task. I think you nailed it! It's lonely on the road, but you've done so much on your own, and I'm sure it's an unforgettable experience for you, too. Not gonna lie, when I heard the music “crosses” I really cried.All your efforts are totally worth it!!!! Dirve Spiffy and go explore the world! SOOO HAPPY FOR YOU!❤️

Its beautiful. Ive always wanted to do what youve just gone and done! The wood finish, the delicious dark green and the atlas theme.... I really like your style. It's warm and refined. I love that vintage green you went for outside and that dark green strip that ties the outside colors in to the inside. Gorgeous makeover, you worked so hard

Natalie, you have become a huge inspiration in my life. Your determination to achieve your dreams is truly inspiring, and I will always appreciate how real you are in your films. You're not afraid to show the bad moments and all the imperfections life throws at you. Your videos have allowed me to believe that I can achieve my dreams too, and I will be forever grateful for that. Thank you for all you do, even if you don't realize it. Can't wait to watch your van-life journey unfold!

I can’t explain how much this resonated with me , I built my van on all my own too and went through so many of the same emotions and no body really talks about it nor make it look so cinematic, so thank you for making me feel heard and inspired again. Keep being you 🫶

What an absolute genius girl you are! Excellent choice of van, excellent match of paint from the store, and what a nice little home you'll have on the road! There is nothing wrong with being independent! Be the kind of person people come to with problems, be the person who knows everything that people can rely on, be your own hero! Excellent video, thanks for posting it!

The thing that you said at 8:12 made a lot of sense to me Cause I am studying for CPL(commercial pilot license) And in India being a pilot is considered as very untraditional path. All of my friends are either studying for engineering or doctor or other traditional parts Which makes me feel very lonely and isolating from others

So i also converted a Van when i was 19 (last year), a Sprinter Van (eventually made it a business and now working on 2 others). Just like you i had never done anything like it before but i knew that it was something I wanted to do and kept working my ass off every day. The way you describe this whole Van building experience is insanely accurate and it just really hit me. The feeling of isolation, not making any (visual) progress, just laying down tired and fcking frustrated in the Van… i could go on for ages but this is probably the only video that describes the whole building process exactly right and it really makes me happy to hear someone who has had the same experience. And don’t get me wrong, its a fucking amazing experience and i really encourage everyone to start building their Van! It may be f*cking hard at sometimes but in the end it is all worth it. The travels, feelings of self growth and absolute freedom and all the memories are something i’ll carry to my grave and be proud of the rest of my life. Really awesome video! Safe travels! P.S. If anyone has a question about building a Van or is looking to get into the whole Vanlife thing ask away! I’ll be really happy to help or just talk about Vanlife :)

Lesson to learn: working feels good, gives us purpose and pride. This should apply to any job. As my parents always told “ as long as your doing the best you can that’s all you can do” but remember it’s about doing the best you can at any job.

i relate so much when you said that you find it hard to relate to people because you are going down on your path. I'm 21, and still struggling to fully embrace myself and discovering what i actually really want in life. but I'm very happy that you are find your liking and able to embrace it and keep going. now, the results has been gotten with the borderless series. seriously, you are an amazing inspiration to me. to me, in this society where young people are told what to do, you decide to find your own path and walk on it. i think that's amazing. i believe, many people have you as their inspiration too. thank you natalie, i am very happy for you. hope you keep doing what you love! we would love to see more of your content.

followed before I even watched the video and now i’m emotionally attached to your van too. everything from your style to your thoughts to your hair is identical to mine, and it’s incredibly amazing to see someone living my dreams. it makes it feel like everything will work out and be okay in the end no matter how hard it gets, and it’s been pretty hard lately. you have no idea how much this video means to me and if you ever somehow read this i want you to know that i stopped my english homework and am now crying because this taught me more than school ever could. currently my favorite video on the internet, thank you so much for sharing this with the world!!:))🌲🐻

I really related to this; Incredibly independent, and constantly feel like if I want something done well/right I have to do it myself and I often feel disconnected from people. It's odd though, people seem to feel closer to me than I do to them. I enjoy solitude but I often wonder if that's a good thing, because you constantly get told that experiences and happiness needs to be shared to have meaning. I don't know how to have peace while sharing my life with others. The emotional labour always tends to fall to me and relationships (platonic and romantic) end up being one-sided and I just go numb. I've noticed society, as a whole, doesn't respect kindness and authenticity. Hard to find spaces online or irl where it's appreciated and you can encounter others who you can learn from and grow together. So much envy and narcissism. You did a great job! The van looks cosy and has tons of personality.
