sir in hypershade while applying arnond shades it hangs a lot like 2 min to apply the material to that sharer ball is there any way i can fix that i installed maya 2017 which is having bulit in arnold render bt it takes lots of time to render(correct term) in hyper shade and yes love ur tutorials "LOVE FROM INDIA"

By the way, i've made a 3d tree & i wanna apply a texture to it i used 3ds max 2016.The thing is the texture is distorted in max.I tried UVW MAP but still i couldn't figure out what was wrong.I can send you the model & textures if you're willing to make a tutorial on that maybe in maya or max ,....that could be a real time & efforts savior ...

Mike, this does not work for me. I am not sure why, though. It works if I click the magnets, but not with the hot keys. When I press the hotkey, it will not grab the manipulator axis arms. Is there a way to create hotkeys for this as I think I do not have them set. Also, when rotating, holding "J" does not snap in 15 degree increments, either.

The hotkey is set, because when I hold ''x or v'' the magnet highlights above....so why can I not grab the gizmo arms?

Try resetting your Move tool Lori !

I figured it out. On a touchpad (no mouse) you have to hold ''V'', then hold SHIFT, then left click and drag. Carpal tunnel, here I come lol
