We seen the best 1500m runner in the next couple of years .. 1500 m runner need to run the 800 not to win but to get speed ...this guy is getting their ...he is only 20 and he is doing everything right

When Jakob was 20 (he doesnt run the 800) he ran 3:28.XX to win the Olympic gold, and also had multiple european titles to his name. He is the best 1500m runner and he trains strength not speed based.

I would like to see the Holt DQ - nothing he did here looks wrong to me - the only missing part is the first 50 meters or so although his start looked fair to me

Yeah, the video doesn't show much, and nither IAAF, nor USATF results include the reason for the DQ. Most likely either stepping on the inside lane or breaking for the inside lane too soon.
