I headed to the coast for an overnighter armed with homemade crab nets, in search of some spider crabs, lobsters and some coastal foraging. With the aid of an inflatable kayak, I was able to drop the nets out about 50m from the shore, checking them every 30-60min. The aim was to pull up the net while the creatures were feeding on the bait….sounds easy, huh?
Mike from TA OUTDOORS joined me for the afternoon and we did some fishing, more crab netting and some free diving (snorkeling).
I slept in a Bivvy which wasn't too bad as the night temperature was nice and mild.
Thanks for watching!
