You do realize the executive branch consists of only the President, right? Article II of the Constitution states, "the executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America". In the last 100 years, we have created hundreds of regulatory agencies that are staffed by unelected bureaucrats whom make decisions that affect us every single day. They estimate around 440 of them exist, employing an estimated 3 million people. Many of them are useless and a waste of money. Many are captured by corporations and special interest groups, doing the bidding of big business instead of working on behalf of the American people. How you do feel about a Pfizer board member becoming the head of the FDA, defining the governments rules affecting Pfizers business, and then returning to the board of Pfizer 4 years later? This "revolving door" has seen to it that there is a constant back and forth of people who are supposed to be making rules for industry end up going to work for them instead. Literally. Not to mention the sheer size of our government is egregious, the inefficiency and waste is unimaginable, and our national debt seems to be accelerating at an apocalyptic pace. There are over 3 million employees of the federal government. It's insane. Seeking to address this issue is not an act of centralizing unlimited power for the President, but returning to the way the constitution says it should be. Remember learning about the three branches of government and the idea of "checks and balances" in school? This administrative state has essentially become a fourth brach of government within the Executive Branch, in which people who are NOT representatives of the American people and are and are accountable to no-one. This is a problem that greatly affects every Americans lives, and it gets more and more existential by the year. Article II also states that a President has the authority to issue executive orders that act as law, as long as they are determined constitutional. Yet the "Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs" decides which ones are allowed and which are not, whether they are unconditional or not. It's insanity. Remember "no taxation without representation"? The only people allowed to govern are ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES. This is what the founders meant when they established the "consent of the governed". These people make rules for how we're allowed to live, operate a business, decide what get's taught to our children, are constantly burying us and burdening our children with national debt, and so many things you would never even imagine. And unfortunately the media has spun into overdrive trying to convince people like you that the usurpation of our Liberties and circumvention of our constitutional republic is actually a good thing. Sounds like despotism to me.

I come from Egypt (and originally Armenia). I am currently studying in the United States (Maine). It really baffles me how republicans (or in this case authoritarian neo-Nazis) make fun of and implicitly discriminate against other POORER, less developed countries while wanting to implement some of their SAME exact policies (project 2025). I know this from first-hand experience. In Egypt (currently developing), public education is scandalously underfunded (while private ones are relatively better, but still, the general public awareness is plummeted). Secondly, abortion is nearly entirely banned, and, through time, given the lack of education of the public, it is taboo to be even spoken of. Given the theocratic rule, gay / trans people are imprisoned at best or killed at worst. Again, it gets to a point where the public is so uneducated that being gay becomes unspeakable/ non-discussable as it silently becomes a social taboo. Not even speaking of those things becomes a natural, silent rule that everyone latently fully follows. From an American POV, it becomes akin to speaking of cannibalism as a natural part of the social order. Think of how insane and punishable that sounds. Yup. Our government research and investigation areas are heavily underfunded or full-blown discouraged to the point of being non-existent . Women are implicitly and explicitly discouraged from joining the workforce. The government and public are highly conservative. Due to the general social and monetary comfort Americans are currently experiencing, they stopped learning about those things or caring and became complacent, to their own demise.

Did you hear Trump endorsing any of this? Not just people SAYING Trump endorses it, but Trump himself actually saying Project 2025 is part of his agenda or mentioning any part of the Project he wants to implement? I don't think we need to wait for anyone to announce what they will dictate to consider them a dictator. We just need to prevent anyone from having so much power where they would eventually abuse it.
