The physics of space travel has not changed since the 60's and 70's so what is it? The difference between generations - There was a generation that saved humanity then came home to send people to the moon. There was no such thing as acceptable failure to them. They did not applaud and cheer when things went wrong. It was the Soviet Union that pretended something was not a failure or that it did not happen at all. This generation, failure with phrases like unscheduled rapid disassembly to compensate for ineptitude is ok because at least you participated, and you are entitled to something. This is the same generation demanding communism in this country as they applaud and cheer total failure, then defend their own failure of character.
