I had 3 siblings in the military. One was an army Sargent. One was an army M.P. (military police). One was state side. Ideologies have absolutely no place in the military, they divide. IMHO Being promoted because of DEI or as they say, "checking the boxes" over merit is wrong, it's discrimination.

Yeah Jayne said it best. The migrants we are getting, any documentation they have could be (actually would be) forged so we don't really look at any of it. The people who DO have legal documentation wait in line for years to get in this country (that is unless they can code a computer, operate on your organs, or play a sport.) Otherwise, there is no possible way to check the "background" to see how "clean" it is. And even if we wanted to VET migrants that way, it would be inhumane and voted down by every democrat because those kinds of migrants are not needy and would eventually vote Republican.

There are many phase of the war. Boots on the ground is at the final phase of the war to Liberate or take over a country. I was a member of the Advance Party. We go in way before war started to spy/infiltrate gather info last usually 3-6 months come home submit info and my job for the war is completed.

That's one reason that is not main reason as of recently. I joined in '81 and I've talked to Veterans of WWII, VIETNAM WAR and KOREAN WAR that are doing quite well even better than average American. This recruitment issue is just recently acknowledge. A lot Military people just recently came out because of the mandatory training the government added by means of DEI and ESG.

Citadel? Shannon Falkner's fame was her failure in 1994. Many already knew she could not handle it. Her JAG Col daddy forced her UNQUALIFIED application. She dropped out within the first week from lacking fitness preparation. Her fellow cadets saw the publicity gimmick. Her Affirm Act forced her entrance as her lacking CHARACTER could not keep her there. Women were not discouraged. Only qualified CHARACTER could keep pace. Falkner BARELY got in then bailed inside the first week. The same goes for the 2 USMA grads given multiple training attempts at Ranger School while others were washed out from peer conditions. FACTS vs opinion. Oct 1994, USNA grad aviator callsign REVLON was undertrained, wanting to claim being the first woman carrier based aviator. During a flight, her aircraft behaved oddly, causing a ramp strike killing REVLON and severely injuring the RIO due to inability to properly react. Quals and training reqs are in place for a reason.
