A human adult is also an offspring of their parents but you wouldn't convince that an adult is a baby because it's an offspring. Human development has stages which is by time. I wana know why a mother would even consider an abortion at 21 weeks if it’s a healthy pregnancy ofc after carrying in her body for that long . They wanted me to continue with the pregnancy till I was 22 - 24 weeks and only then when they knew it had died and perished would they give me an abortion . It was traumatizing for me and my husband but we agreed bc of the toxicity it could have given me had I carried much longer . All I’m saying is sometimes in some circumstances it should be legally allowed such as mine . Many others have had the same happen to them also but we don’t generally talk about these days and mine happened in 1977 so u can imagine. So sometimes it’s not murder

The pills cost between 600-800$ and during later phases can be 1400-2000$. Whereas, the pill is free for most women who have insurance. So your percentages don't really make sense unless you add how far along. Eh I don't think he did a great job. She's right that the correct term is fetus and not baby. These are two different stages of human development. You wouldn't call a child an adult. Also he's misleading when talking about late term abortions. There are instances where it's medically necessary to have a late term abortions. There are and never have been legal voluntary late term abortions (outside of genetic disease). Anything after 25 weeks has always required medical necessity. I think he's referring to genetic anomalies of the fetus. That's where the fetus is healthy but may have a genetic disease or disorder. Unfortunately the current tests can only be done later in the stages of development. Maybe technology will allow for earlier detection of those diseases eliminating the need for this type of abortion.

I agree with you! As a mom of a preemie, when I was told my baby needed to be delivered early. I told the Dr. please just do a c-section and cut me open, I don't care about my risks, but I cared about my baby's risk. So I requested a c-section so my baby would not be harmed, by inducing early and trying to deliver as you would full term. Luckily my almost 3 pound baby was delivered safely via c-section and spent the next few months in a NICU. I can tell you mothers and fathers of NICU preemies spend so much time worrying about their baby, and praying they make it. Such a difference in how life is valued by parents. 😢
