IMPOSE A FINE on ANYONE that "dances around questions" by NOT answering questions directly. Start the fine at $10,000 for the first time a question isn't answered directly. Then, double the fine and add it to the previous fines for any additional attempts at avoiding questions. Impose a fine...and, watch the dancing stop IMMEDIATELY.

That’s because he’s intentionally trying to use up all their time rambling about nothing. He knows their time is limited and that they can’t speak after it’s up, which is why they’ll say things like “That’s a very good question,” or “Thank you for the question,” before they say anything else, while going on as much of a tangent as the asker will tolerate. They should stop the clock every time a question is asked, just so the person answering can’t worm their way out of them.

I would imagine there's some really low-level person that doesn't even get a personal office that does their own automotive work and home repairs that knows more about each part of the alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosives agency then the director or any of the higher-level people. I don't work for the government but I can give a detailed explanation about how to make alcohol and grow tobacco and what makes them addictive do people. I can explain the inner workings of a firearm and what makes the projectile go from the firearm to hit the target. And I can explain everything necessary to cause several different types of explosions. So when I hear somebody that is the director of an agency like this and they know absolutely nothing about what they were talking about, then I definitely have to question the credibility of the government Administration that put this person in his job in the first place.

It should be criminal charges for any politician or appointed official to refuses to answer a question before any state or federal government committee. It's the exact same thing as lying under oath. If you literally dodge simple, Yes or No questions, then you are a crook. If you were an honest and moral person, you would freely admit Yes or No, and you would be open to the resulting discussion or debate. You only dodge questions for two reasons: 1) you want to lie, but youll get caught so you say meaningless words instead, or 2) You have an agenda, and you're actively trying to hide that agenda from anyone who questions you. That's it. This ATF guy should be in prison for 3x longer than our most extreme drug-related charges. If the maximum sentence for selling drugs is 30 years, then this guy deserves 60 years for SELLING LIES to the taxpayers.
