I finally took the plunge only last year and bought the CM3 from Virpil; my Warthog, being a TM product, had broken for the 3rd time and so finally went in the bin. Now FFB is coming back. I'm both excited and bloody annoyed.
@WatchMysh4 ай бұрын
Lol I feel you. But the CM3 is still a great base and far from worthless now. People will still pay good money for it if you switch to ffb.

i don't remember the force feedback sticks from long ago having bases as big as an ITX system.

@@OzDeaDMeaT yes they didn't. But they also had a lot less power.

@@WatchMysh Yeah but i guess it comes down to what your looking for. I would prefer something smaller and easier to fit between my legs than that thing. It's crazy big.

Crappy tiny motors and not being able to deal with extensions which most aircraft with centre sticks have that’s why. Who wants that crap now, I certainly don’t, so we have to deal with the increase in base size.

@@WhiteHawk77 I wish you well with your mini fridge sized force feedback joystick.

@@OzDeaDMeaT thanks, every single person who gets one of the VPForce Rhino FFB bases for example is extremely happy with it and keeps saying the words game changer so I can’t wait to get rid of the crappy spring based joysticks finally and feel what’s happening to the aircraft through the controls. 😁

WTH is going on with all the new hardware coming for our sim hobby. Its almost too much to take in LOL. And it all looks like superbly crafted stuff. Simnautica looks like it might just be a Christmas gift for me and then I will probably and finally build a cockpit for it. Amazing times we are experiencing on this hobby!

I haven't stopped using my old MSFF2 for the past 20+ years, recently upgraded to the Rhino, I spent the whole time being owning that MSFFB2 asking for better support and being mocked by people who never experienced one, frequently saying what a gimmick waste of time it is - despite never having tried one, and yet here we are, So FU you all you people who mocked.
