Hi! I just checked the spreadsheet, and the numbers of controls for the Winwing devices are pretty wrong, lots of missing buttons and axes. Are you still interested in keeping it up to date? If so, I can give you the right values (though there are some issues with the spreadsheet format. For instance: the F16EX stick has lots of 5-way hats, not 4-way, and the spreadsheet has no column for that, or the throttle has a weird 3-position-plus-push thing, etc)

The plane nose technique also works well with the Bf-110

Seeing as you have the Winwing and the STECS, can you say which one is your preferred daily driver? I want to but a throttle and stick but would prefer to be within the one ecosystem as much as possible. Although I am pretty sold on the Winwing pedals too…

Beginners guide? It's just for full time losers who play around the clock. Want to play rank 2.7 for example? Too bad you will be up against people with 30k games in 3.7s in your 2.7, as they invented a word called "up-tier", where the shit developers put tanks with 1 entire Battle Rating (another bullshit made up word) against each other. Example: If you are using tanks with highest Bullshit Rating of 3.0, you will be up against 3.0 , 3.3 , 3.7 and also 4.0 ranked tanks. Sound fun yet? Ok, combine that with you having to work, or study, have a family life, social life, friends, hobby other than War Thunder, now you will be up against people with none of those and who's only purpose in life is to kill people in War Thunder and consume calories.

ok so what a waist of time. i don't know why i didn't think of it earlier. you cant even do this with a freighter or a trader.. you make it seem like freighters can haul ore and sell it, but they cant. container storage is different then solid and liquid storage. so this is just BS. you are just building a station and having miners haul ore to the station, then just having miners haul from the station. Its not worth the effort. the game is designed for production. just sell your ore to some one that will buy it from the miner, or use it for production. do not waist your time doing this thinking a hauler will trade witht he best prices in the region or something. it doesn't work that way. I bassically just made a station for selling ore and hydrogen to other factions.... to bad no one HAULS ORE AND HYDROGEN.

seems a bit much only for you to find out you need a lvl 3 trader to do how the video shows. what's the point of getting a lvl 3 manager if the trader is the skill you really need. you need to be able to assign a trader to the station have have him do what ever the manager wants. seems way to much for something simple.

I have been rocking a Saitek X65 for years that picked up as new old stock still in box. While the X-56 is based on it, it is a far inferior version. The X65 is awesome and is a pressure sensor design, the stick does not move. The only issue I have with it is, that when it starts to break there are no spares out there unless you pick up another one to part out, which I did.

The moment I upgraded to this thing from the t16000m I realized how much of a difference it can make in a dogfight. It's so god damn precise.

I use left hand VKB for sidstrafe in Star Citizen. Buttons and hats are very convenient, but in my opinion for such use classic joysticks are too big. I'd honestly prefer something twice smaller, presize and with short stroke, maybe even controlled by fingers instead of full wrist. I'm still figuring it out. I bought VKB with Omni throttle adatper - it was definitely a mistake. This omni adapter makes position control much more complicated, sometimes I have to look at stick to understand what I'm doing. Now I plan to get rid of omni, will se how things work out with straight grip.

On the high end for milsim multiple aircraft (you don't want to rule anything out), I recommend the CM3 throttle with F-16EX stick. CM3 throttle is a hard recommend for multiple aircraft because even though the Orion2 system is "swappable" it's not that trivial to do and realistically you will decide not to switch to certain aircraft because you have the overhead of disassembly and reassembly if it's within the same session. Maybe even if you're just trying to hop on for a quick session and you don't want to add 5-10 minutes and you don't want to make the change. At least that's how I play. For stick, F-16EX simply has the most buttons and is quite a nice replica-lite style for both the A-10 and F-16. I also have a WarBRD base with a TM F/A-18 stick which I specifically use for the F/A-18 and F-15E and I love it. I wish I could put an F-16EX grip on it but that is incompatible with the WarBRD base.

Had one for years now. Outstanding stick. Only 'beef' is it really needs an extension mod. Doesn't need to be a long extension a few inches would be perfect.
